The admin is someone else on your computer, so whoever you live with, mom, dad, or whatever, ask them to bump your account up to admin and you won't have anymore problems.

Will I be ok? Look at my sig for info. I mean BF2 as it is has to be run on Medium so I can play at 40 FPS at the most. Should I invest in another 7900GT and run SLI? I'm serious. Also should I increase my RAM to 1.5 to 2 Gigs? I'd DL the demo, but don't feel like waiting 6 hours.

Thats really weird how you have to play BF2 on medium with those specs. Make sure your graphics card driver is updated and another 7900 isn't needed. One should be enough
You should be okay with running the demo. The game runs better than BF2 for me, quicker loads (Except the first one which is long for everybody) and ALOT quicker "Verifying client data". The only thing that ever slows me down is to many effects, I only have effects on medium but also I have that "special lighting effects" option added so that might be it. -------------------  | |

OK I reinstalled BF2, and now have 2142 Demo all work on high. KTHXBY

Yes 512mb of RAM will still work on Low, but the "recommended requirements" are there to give you the best performance out of BF2, you don't need 1.5GB of RAM for it to work but its "recommended"
The more RAM -The faster your load times -The less stuttering you have (if any) -The more memory so you may be able to bump up a setting or two. There is a big, noticable difference between 512RAM and 1.5GBs of RAM when it comes to BF2 and BF2142 ------------------- | |

so i know im not god like in 2142

Laptops weren't meant for gaming. So there's no surprise there, if you want to play BF2142 then you're better off getting yourself a reasonably good computer.
