I did this with ease. First, upgrade your weapon, specifically Athena's Blades. By this time, I had it maxed. Now since you already have Atlas' Quake, you may easily dodge being teamed up. Whenever you feel ganged up, press the L2 button and you will unleash the Atlas quake which would easily take down your opponents. Then, if your magic is low use your weapons. Hold square and activate Rage of the Titans for maximum effect.

Agreed. Only When I played this part on titan I used Cronos' Rage (level 2) and Blades of Athena (level 3) ugh pain in the ass.

re: protecting the translator (completely desperate)

There's a sneaky trick you can use to make life a little easier. When you encounter the first two waves of enemies you can just run back with the Translator to the little Altar where you found him. Pull off the block from the switch and you will be safe behind the gate, then using the Blades of Athena you can pound away at the enemies through the gate.

The third wave isn't as easy, but its basically a case of being as strategic as possible with when and how you deploy your magic/Rage of the Titans. By using the gate trick you can preserve all your magic for the final stage which will make life easier, especially as the Translator will also be at full health. Throwing enemies at one another is useful as it does a lot of damage, but be warned, do not throw near the translator, if it hits him it will do massive damage. Your biggest problem in this wave is probably the Priests summoning other monsters. Use a couple of Cronos Rage orbs to keep the other enemies occupied and then do as much damage to the Priests as you can with Rage of the Titans or throws. Beat down on them as quickly as possible, and then get back to near the translator and fend off enemies, if things get too manic then Cronos' Rage or Atlas Quake are your best bets to relieve some of the pressure. Then when you have taken out the majority its just a case of mopping up whatever enemies are left.

Hope that helps.

Sneaky indeed. Damn I wish I would have thought of that last time I played it through. Clever mang.

re: protecting the translator (completely desperate)

I only beat the game on titan for the first time this week, and protecting the translator was definitely the hardest part of the game along with the cerebus breeders, the path to Clotho, and Theseus.

I only had L4 Blades of Athena, L2 Atlas Quake, and L1 Cronos Rage at this point, so it can be done! The final wave is where you usually get pissed off. I ended up using plume of prometheus repeatedly to keep the dogs/minions off their feet, and then used cronos rage to stun the conjurers while I hammered them with my blades with rage of the titans activated.

If you've got your blades to L5 by this point, rack up a decent combo on the enemies and use Prometheus' Inferno to wipe out a screenfull of enemies, and make sure those pesky conjurers get caught in the blaze!
