sorry, but im almost certain this series will end with our ill fated hero being bashed down again. He is going to die, the only thing im not sure of is whether or not he will get the peace of mind he is so hell bent on getting.......

My point exactly. This would most perfectly suggest that Kratos can mould his destiny, and finally choose to defeat the Olympians, if he wants to.
Note that David Jaffe said that he wants the 3rd one to be a story that literally shakes the heavens. If they make Kratos die AGAIN it would be silly since he already did it twice, so clearly they can't kill him. in my opinion Zeus would use his wife and child against him just as Ares did, coz that seems like the only weakness Kratos has.
Also u guys refer to Gaia as the ever present mother(stated in the game). Another way of saying it would be that she narrates the entire story so she cannot die nor does she
Another useless historical fact is that Sparta is the only place that the Romans didn't conquer. Yet still I doubt any mention of Romans will be hinted to, as GOW is an alternate mythology of ancient Greece plus it's just a game

OMG!! I just had a breakthrough thought. OK, everyone prepare to get your minds blown!!

At the begninning of GoW 3, Kratos, atop Gaia, and closely followed by all the titans are on their way up to Mt Olympus. Think about this, Kratos just proved he can kill Zues, he would be dead if athena hadent intervented, Athena and Ares are dead, surely Kratos and a whole mess of Titans can pummel a few puny gods into submission in a matter of minutes. Great war? I think not.... If left alone GoW3 will be have the subtitle "God of War 3: The anti-climatic war."

Alright, here comes the mind blowy part. Towards the end of GoW2, you have a boss fight with Lahkesis and Atropos before spearing clotho in the brains. Heres the thing. Lahkesis and Atropos werent killed. They were hurt. Badly I might add, but alive nonetheless and stuck at the end of the fight with Kratos and Ares.

They are stuck in a period where THEY ARE STILL ALIVE AND IN CONTROL. The Sisters of Fate travel to the isle of creation to seek an audience from The Sisters of Fate!!!!! Upon greeting themselves and informing them of their impending doom, they intervene and .........

Thats it. Thats where my story ends becuase I have no Idea where this story could go because it can seriously go anywhere from here. But it is all very possible. This storyline would satisfy the means of powering Kratos back down again and we know two copies can exist at the same time since we saw kratos getting shanked by zues when he steps out of the time portal.

omg...my head hurts after reading that... good thought though...obviously the 2 sisters are very "not dead". I think they are certain to play a part...zeus stated at the end that the sisters had already deemed him victorious. Picture this....kratos climbs to the top of mount olympus, gets ready to spear zeus in the face, only for zeus to disappear!!!?!?!?! THINK about that...

Yeah, they were left for dead for a reason, expect the sisters to come back with a vengence after Kratos. This time theyre more pissed since he went after them.

Proof, and the credits as well. Thats wasnt exactly accurate but thats what they said.
The brother was so called abandoned my kratos and his hate towards his brother grew to such a point to kill Kratos. That was from the unlockable, from the first. Though i believe they fight in chains of Olympus.
The titan and gods Co-existing is completely far-fetched.
And the sisters of fate being alive isn't mindbogglingly. But remember Guys, Atropos is 75% weak and lakhesis is 50%. There not doing anything for awhile. And since Gaia is mother earth per say, she is the almighty god who knows all.
As far as whats going to happen in the third game, lets just say its going to be total chaos. I bet its going to be as big as dmc4 is going to be. Bigger than all 3 combined. Yes thats right 3 CoO. So prepare for the fight of our lives right here, and kratos. Imagine, fighting 50 dead soldiers at once, man talk about crazy. The game to end all god of war games. Other than that, nothing different than what the ending showed us.
