in regards to gaia, i believe that the reason she is aware of the coming of Kratos is because she is born of Chaos, the orginal and she is the mother of the titans. She is all knowing and it is unlikely that time could decieve her knowledge. Furthermore, in relation to the time room collapising at the end, at first i thought it was simply because Kratos had abused the time reel, it was never for him to use, only for him to make a request and for the sisters to use. However, another idea i though of was it was the Gaia who did this, she destroyed the temple so that Zeus and any other god could not use the time reel to go back in time and undo Kratos's scheme to save the titans and attack olympus. Just a possibilty, it would at least have some meaning behind it.

Lastly, someone said how can the titans climb mount olympus when they were defeated by Zues in the war. If you watch the cutscene carefully, when Kratos asks Gaia to come back to his time, then he covers her in the elecetricty to include her when he goes back. Just as he does this you can see the wave coming at the titans from the olympus sword zeus uses. At the same time, the feild around Kratos and gaia spreads to all the other titans, and they disappear to Krato's time just as the wave hits, afterwards Zues believes the ones that are gone to be dead. Titans such as Cronos and Atlas must not come back with Kratos because they are banned to punishment by zues. I think the God of war 3 story would start based upon the new battle with the titans and the Gods, but Kratos's brother escapes from hell as hades joins the war. Thus, Kratos is forced into his own vendetaa with his brother before he can worry about zues, who is busy with the titan war. I still believe that the grave digger in GOW1 is zeus, bacuse at the time he and kratos had no problems, it was only at the end of one (if you complete it on god mode as i did) that you learn Kratos is zeus's son. It could also be chaos for that matter. [size=2][/size]

Ok, the way I see is that Kratos will be sent all over the world since " God of War 3 will explain why there are no more Greek mythology" said Jaffe look it up in Wikipedia.
I figure since it can't take place on a fricking mountain. It'll be too short, so Zeus will send Kratos to exotic places like Asia, India, Atlantis, Amazon Jungles etc. There he will face the other God, such as Helios, Hermes, Poseidon, Hades and maybe the legendary half-god Hercules. At this part he will fight them randomly while doing quest(special helps from Gaia like she told him the weaknesses of each God and a special item must be worn in order to have a chance at beating them . Once he'd defeated them he will gain special power ups in order to fight Zeus/Titans. Why the Titans? Think about it, an immortal race relying on a human in order to win the war? They would never live it down. This is where it ties into where there are no Greek myths anymore. So after Kratos had finish all of the Gods, the Titans fear Kratos is too powerful since all of the power ups. One of them decided to strike him while he is weak, so Kratos had been betray realizing he had no chance of survival. He then use one of the power ups( most likely Hermes sandals or shoes since he can run fast or teleport IDK?) To run away and hide, most likely Sparta. While his is there, he met the Oracle( supposed to be a dude but a woman is nicer!!) There she told him what is likely the outcome if he battle the Titans. Since he had been weaken, but there is another way. She told him to go and find the tree that bears gold apples. A bite from that will make him a God again I think since I forgot the cut scene when Kratos pull out the Balde of Olympus either he got his God powers back already or Zeus have taken it. If Kratos had absorbed his god powers when he stole that blade from Zeus, then why didn't he turn big or fly instead of riding on the back of Gaia? Since this ties in when the Kratos was battling the Gods, he notice each of them consuming a golden fruit which amplifies their power by a lot. That's all I have for now I'll think of something later.

Then titans will imprisson him somewhere like tartarrus and they will begin their reighn of terror and make people suffer. The titans will also imprisson kratos at tartarus with the gods of olympous and kratos will understand that may the gods werent absolutely fair but they were better to rule than titans he will help on the side of his father zeus the gods to rule again the humanity. He will solve his problems with his father and they will make him a god as a ^thanks^ for his help. All this ofcourse in my immagination

Like what happend in sly 3, I think kratos will flash-back, and you might play when he was a CHILD!! Or, life flash befor eyes!

Well maybe the plot of the game is that Kratos and the taitans already took control of Mount Olympus, however Zeus escaped to who knows where and the other gods went to their realms for protection, so Kratos is going realm after realm (Hades and who knows where else) finding the wereabouts of Zeus and gaining new weapons (might be Ares's old weapons or totally new weapons). The thing is David Jaffe said that GoW 3 will explain why are there no more Greek Myths, perhaps Kratos killed Olympus (All the other gods and Zeus, but of course he'll have to kill Zeus last.), then the Titans betray him, he fight the Titans, and simply because he is KRATOS he kills all of them except Gaia and Atlas.

to add more to the titans of the game all of them will be in it because when kratos went back in time to get gaia and the other titans the events in chain of Olympus never happened so atlas isnt holding up the world. As for Cronus i am not sure unless Pandoras temple was just sitting there i don't think kratos would have acquired Pandora's box therefor he couldn't kill ares thus never becoming a god. But this could be full of mistakes so correct me if i am wrong.
