how do you use the cheat codes, what mode (start mode, while playing, menu, what?

you do them while playing,they all work great but takes away the fun and challenge of the game

yea i cant get the cheats to work either, what gives?

i cannot activate cheats. Someone earlier stated that you are suppose to do it "in play mode (in game?)". However, every time a sequence includes the back button, it takes me to map mode (of course). I assume that's bad. At any rate, i continue the process without fail but get no reaction from the game. No bikini, no chests, nothing. These codes either don't work, or I am not doing it correctly. Most likely it's me since no one has said WHEN you fdo these codes or how fast or nothing. Just the codes. Please be comprehensive and precise. Every step. All of them.... thx.

I tried the bikini cheat until I wuz blue in the face and got nothing. Supposedly you do it in the main selection screen. Of the other cheats I only tried the "show hidden chest" cheat, and it worked - but it only shows buried chest and not above ground chest you may have missed. The chest cheat I did while I was "in" the game.

All of the cheats work, but it's true that you'll take some fun out of the game. The trick is to hold the left and right triggers down while you go through the sequences (which are posted all over the net). All of the cheats are done while you're actually playing the game (i.e., running around and doing stuff). Best to activate them where you're not in danger of getting killed. The only cheat that's not done during gameplay is the alternate costume cheat. This you do before you start a new game, or continue playing an old one (the screen wuth "start new game", "options", etc. This cheat also differs from the others in that you have to hold down all of the keys simultaneously. It took me a few tries, but it definitely works. Gotta love those bikinis!

I`ve already beat the game(twice). And don`t waste your time on the false cheats, they don`t work. You would have to hold left/right trigger at the same time and enter cheat(during game play) then you would hear a sound that you think entered the cheat, but they don`t work. There are cheat sites/codes that have already removed these from their sites.

The Cheats DO work..Dock your boat and get on an island first. Then follow the instructions for your desired cheat. The "back" button is the select button on the controller and you must push the analog sticks down for the left/right analog sticks cheat commands. Not down as in you want your character to go the opposite direction but press the stick like its the A or X button. Have fun cheating
