Which do you guys think will be better? Ive wondered about this for a long time, because each one looks like it has pros and cons, and they both are good (Havent played fable 2, but im asuming it will be good). What do you guys think?

I will post again once Fable 2 is released.

Well I doubt anyone can really answer your question since their opinion will only be based on videos they've watched and we're trying to compare it to a game that has been released for a couple of years, that has evidently been played. Not a fair comparison but I just never liked the Elder Scrolls series anyway. No matter how many times I tried playing it, just couldn't get into it. Fable 2 all the way.

I know what you mean, i never got into it either. It seemed that I got stuck ALL the *bleep*ing time. Fable 2 will probably be better in my opinion, but theres also those who cant put oblivion down. =/

Im hoping that as well. If Fable II is like Oblivion, I wont like it, but as you said, it should be better. The graphics, gameplay, and LIVE should kick the crap out of Oblivion. BTW, im limited to 5 PPD, so Ill probably post in this forum at least twice a day. Just dont expect a 5 page argument with me. Not saying I want to argue with anyone, but you get what I mean.

My opinion is a little biased because I've never been a huge fan of Oblivion. I rented it a long time ago and it was fun, but I didn't miss it when I gave it back.

The graphics, I think, are a matter of opinion. Some of Oblivion was breathtaking, but the FaceGen was appalling and very few mods could change that. Give me an attractive cartoonish face over an ugly pseudo-realistic face any day.

Speaking as someone who's never been interested in online play, I'm personally not going to compare the games on that basis. I'm sure it's an excellent feature for those who like online and co-op, but I don't like to play with other people.

It really just depends on how much replayability Fable 2 has versus Oblivion. Right now it's looking very replayable, but I can't really come to a conclusion on superiority without playing Fable 2.

Though they are cartoon-like, they really do look beautiful. A lot better than Oblivions.
