No, I know that. However, they were so focused on surviving the week with food, they were kind of unsure about purchasing a music box.

I realize that. My question isn't about the music box or the wish they made. It's about the potential storyline before the game - do you think they'd have ever, in all the time they lived in Bowerstone, gone to Fairfax Gardens to get a closer look at Castle Fairfax?

My guess is that they finally got the courage to go out and feel like, "hey we can fend for ourselves, we don't need mom or dad".

Do you think it was still a public place back then when Lucien was doing crazy experiments and what not? I was thinking it might be an open place in the game only because Lucien abandoned it for the Spire. An individual villager probably couldn't afford the million bones to buy the castle, so they just decided to make the courtyard an open area. Just speculating...
