I was wondering if anyone had managed to get a Perfect Round in Round 8 in the Crucible playing solo, and if so, how. I have a friend who knows how to get it in multiplayer (have one player distract the troll while the other charges up a Level 5 Inferno), but I'd like to get it solo if at all possible.
Also, what's the Base Cost for the Archon's Dream if you kill Belle and keep the thing? I know she gives you 50,000 Gold if you hand it over to her, but what's the base cost if you decide to keep it? If it's high enough, I'll off her even though I'm generally playing a good character. I'd check myself, but the game saves as soon as you make your choice, so I'd be stuck with the thing if it turns out it's not worth more than what she gives you. I'm not interested in what it sells for, since I can do some basic math to figure out that part, but knowing what the Base Cost is would be really helpful. -------------------

well you could charge up the time control spelland when their the glowing thing on his back go after that when he is doing the rock attack, thats how i got it

I've only ever got 7
The troll one i beat wif like 2 seconds left, i was out of breath by the end But i cant get past the highway men or something one I try to shoot them but always miss I almost got it once but was seriously 1 SECOND OFF (2.01  ) | |

I soloed him. It just takes a little bit of practise so don't get frustrated to quickly. The best advise I can give is as soon as he jumps out the ground he does a little roar thing. While he is doing this run to the back of him and get the weak spots on his back which are the trickiest to get.

try to get either a master flintlock pistol or the red dragon by scoring over 175 points on the shooting range i beat the troll plenty of times just keep targeting him and keep moving my best time is like 154 seconds also

I finally got the troll. I used a Level 1 Time Control to buy me the time to cast a Level 3 Time Control, which bought me the time to pop off a Level 5 Inferno. Did that twice, and he was dead.
How about the Archon's Dream? Anyone know it's base price? -------------------

I got perfect times in all rounds but I didn't get Archon's Dream, I got whatever weapon the guy at the entrance used in his days.

The troll is teh only one i cant get perfect, i missed by 1 second solo on it, i used my pistol, and just used time stop, it was easy, but at that time he was litterally out of health, but the time barely passed by.

I kept Archon's Dream, and I believe it is worth 100,000. I hope you don't plan on selling it, though. It's kinda cool to have all three of those stones.

Chaotic: I'm not expecting to get Archon's Dream from the Crucible. I separated the two questions because they're on two different subjects. The Archon's Dream is gotten by completing all 13 rounds of 'The Archaeologist'. You're then sent inside the ruins in Fairfax Gardens, where you retrieve it. Belle will then ask you to hand it over, and if you do, she'll give you 50,000 Gold as compensation. I was wondering what the Base Value is so I could see how much I was getting ripped off.
The5thAvacado: I was originally planning on selling it for money to buy Castle Fairfax, but now I don't need to. I still plan to keep it, so that I have 4 ultra-rare stones: Archon's Dream, The Stone of Myr Bregothl, and 2 Diamond of Sorrow's. It's a nice little feather in my cap. -------------------

Me and my mate done the troll, with about 10 seconds to spare. Really, just use a Turret Rifle (I used the Perforator) and have a high speed for fast reloading. But I have all the legenedary weapons, a 5 star item from every category and the Crucible Axe isn't worth the hassle.
