I have a question. What ever happened to the playmaker controls? The ones where you could move receivers during the play, or blockers, and change defensive players' roles one at a time. I didn't have Madden 06, were the playmaker controls in either the 360 or regular Xbox version? I hope they bring it back next year.

The only thing, play maker wise, I ever did was change where the Half-Back was going. And you can still do it.

Yeah I forgot to mention that part is still here, but I used to change my defense around with the playmaker controls. Oh well.

I liked the playmaker feature that was implemented in the '04 version; the one that allowed you to point to places on the field to send receivers when the QB was on the move.

yet another major cut to gameplay by EA....
But they're are ways around it. for WRs hot routes you us eB to select them like you would for motion THEN hit Y. you cna use both sticks to pick one of 8 routes. during a play, hit L2+R2 as a the QB and then u cna sue the Right stick to direct players On D, push R1 to open Lb audibles push LEft on right stick to blitz weak linebackers, Right to bltz strong linebackers Down blitzes all LBs, and up puts them all in short zones What is EA doing cutting all these great features for theirpremiere version of their premiere franchise??? ------------------- "The Past is dead. quote brian8258417What are you talking about? I think you're in the wrong forum because there are no R1, R2, L1, L2 buttons for 360, those are buttons on PS2.
