Easy Rushing |
|
I play on All-Pro as the Panthers in my Franchise. I've played 6 games so far. In my opinion, their O-Line isn't that good in the game, but Deshaun Foster has 1121 yards rushing and 15 rushing TDs in only 125 attempts. Though I've played against the Saints and Browns, whose defense isn't that good, my best games (when it came to rushing) came against the Falcons and Bucs; teams that have better defenses than offenses. Is it just me or does it seem too easy too run in this game?

I play on Pro for now but I am going to move up to All-Pro very soon since I win by at least 40 sometimes. I find it extremely easy to run, if I can't run it good inside I can run it good outside, and the opposite way around. The only reason I play on Pro is because I didn't have 2006 so I'm trying to get used to the controls and audibles, etc.

This game definately needs some slider tweaking when it comes to the rushing. I use Kansas City, and while their offensive line is quite good, I highly doubt that Dee Brown, the 62 or so rated third string running back could become as effective as Larry Johnson, rushing for 125 yards on about 14 carries.
The highlight stick stuff is amped just a little too high. Backs that arent even any good can now run over and through defenses like they arent even there, and when you face a monster back like Larry Johnson, Shaun Alexander, or even Reggie Bush, your defense plays hell trying to tackle these guys. This game pretty much does for the running game what 05 did for the defense. Complete emphasis on that one aspect, and while it is coollooking to rip off consecutive runs of 30+ yards with about 5 missed/broken tackles each, its just not realistic. | |

We do a lot of simming in preparation for fantasy football. With that said, a friend of mine played as the Saint's the traded half of his team to get Larry Johnson (took three separate trades as well as free agent signing). He split running between the two backs 20/80 and set his play scheme to 90/10 rushing.
Larry Johnson went for 3000 yards and Reggie Bush for 1000. But this usually happens when the game focuses on a certain aspect. My superstar was drafted to the Packers and Ahmad green would rush for 100 yards in the first quarter against anyone. So my QB could toss on the run defense like they were playing Field Goal block the entire time. I watch a lot of slider forums, so I'll post the ones I think are decent. -------------------
