I just played against the Falcon and the opponent just kept rushing with Vick but my D wasn't able to contain him. What's the best D against a rushing QB like Vick?

DE contain.

Just make sure you have good corner backs so the WRs don't burn you.

I'm the Falcons, just so I can run with Vick. It's a great strategy against guys with a slow secondary.

DE contain is good, but not if your ends are shit slow. Try looking for plays that put your linebackers in a QB spy, so that your linebacker is just waiting for that QB to take off and run. Thats his assignment on those plays, to watch the QB.

But again, make sure you have a LB with some speed. Its tough to contain a QB if they guys youre trying to contain him with cant run.

You have to think, though, that once Vick can drop his passing and juke, he can beat the first tackle. Most of the contains either are based on zones or nickle packages, so more than one person is there when it comes to it.

But Vick is pretty easy to contain. One hit stick and he'll cough up a fumble or be out for the game.

all you have to use is the corner blitz, it works wonders on scramblers. I beleive it is the first play in the zone blitz category that I use the most.

Zone Blitzes leave you open to quick slants, which is what I use with Vick all day long.

well i can contain a qb pretty well in most cases just using a simple Cover 3, i just use a good defense like Chicago and use Urlacher to blitz the qb he is pretty damn quick, and ifthe qb throws then you have most of the zone covered. works with me its all really just expiramentation, i mean some plays work well for others while you might not do so well.

my best advice is take it to the practice field and change play until you can find a good one that is good for containing the qb as well as making sure zone is covered, you will find exactly what suits you.

That's exactly what I would have suggested, and if that doesn't work, you can always manually control the linebacker to ensure that the QB never gets past the line of scrimmage, assuming you're a halfway-decent defender.
