will the game have differnt views?....because personnaly i like to fly in the cockpit view

There probably will be. There were different views with all the PS2 games so there will probably be different views with this one too.

I hope they can perfect the controls.

as far as the various POV's go (I'm playing the game as we speak here)

3rd Person (behind the craft)
HUD only (gauges/bars/radar, etc... no plane interior)
Cockpit (same as above, but with plane interior)

Also, the cockpit view is incredible for a PSP title... VERY detailed.

Controls....

These are the Normal controls... i'm not even going to bother posting the Novice controls.

O - Fire missle/special weapon
X - Fire machine gun
TRIANGLE - Change target; hold down to zoom in on target
SQUARE - Switch between missles/special weapons
L - Decrease thrust
R - Increase thrust
L + R - Autopilot (<----SCHWEET!!)
UP/DOWN - Trim up/down
LEFT/RIGHT - Yaw left/right
ANALOG STICK - up/down pitch, left/right roll
START - Pause menu
SELECT - Change Radar/Map display

Thanks for the control scheme. Hmm, seems okay, but i bet it'll be difficult to use the directional buttons and the analog stick at the same time.

I hope i'll be dog-fighting portably soon. Can't wait much longer...

I want IT!! i like planes, and that kinda games

Had it now for a week and I can't put it down. Not because its anything revolutionary, but its portable!!! Its easier to play a quick mission or 2 when its so accessable.
Game play is pretty good too. If you're a fan of the series, you'll have no prob. IMO GET IT!

I take mine to work with me and play it during my breaks and even before I start my shift. Its no sweat sometimes to get a mission or two in and then its off to work.I think we can count on seeing the features of ACX being incorporated into a PS3 version of Ace Combat. I just wish they'd allow us to upgrade the real world aircraft as you can the fantasy ones.

How right you are...
The upgrade system would be awesome for all the planes.
But you gotta love the fantasy fighters. I know i do.

Then there's the great mission structure. There are a total of 30 different missions, but you can do 15 in one playthrough.

BTW, is the year the game is set mentioned anywhere? I mean, looking at some of the fantasy planes, i think it's somewhere in 2015-2025. Ish...

man da fing me and my m8s fink is annoyin is dat total lack of pull up. if ur chasin a tank dats right belo u, it real hard to pull up in time wivout crashin.
tho i fink if u get 1 of da cockpits it has emergency auto pilot.
Also i prefer playin in 3rd person, coz cockpit u cant c
