The Magypsies.

What are your reactions to them?

For one here are things that made me go _:
Them.
Tane Tane Shrooms.
Doria.
Ionia style Flying.
Razors and Lipsticks have Reviving powers.

re: The Magypsies.

I was expecting something when Alec said that they're neither man nor woman but nothing that extreme ._.;

They kind of bugged me at first but after a while I started to look forward to seeing them.

re: The Magypsies.

Haha, same here.

The Tane Tane Shrooms were not their fault. The Shrooms were already there, and they had no control of that. Unless, since they were binded to the needle, they controlled the area around the needle, which I can't confirm that. The effects of the Magypsie, the Octopus, and all of the enemies on the island were quite strange though. The sprite, then face, then revert to original form. Of course, all of the colors went crazy as well, so it was just a weird island. Nothing the Magypsies can do about it.

I have forgotten which one Doria was. Was s/he the one with a Army Commander type suit, but in purple? If so, s/he was pretty weird. Not too sure why though. And I really don't remember which needle she is binded to either. I know it is not the one in Osohe, as Ionia is binded to that one, but I really don't know.

Ionia did fly in a strange manner. She basically made herself 2-D, or Paper Mario Style, then just blew away with the wind. It would make sense, but it can't really be called flying, as she didn't truly fly. The wind pushed her away due to her being incredibly light-weight at the moment.

They were momentos that got blessed with a magical power. Lucas was the one who always got them for some strange reason. Nobody else did, not even Kumatora. She was the one raised by them, so I'm really surprised she didn't.

re: The Magypsies.

Wasn't Doria this one?

She (or... it?) has such an awesome design. I kind of like the crazy idea of Magypsies. They really set Mother 3 apart from other RPGs (along with pretty much everything else) Nintendo would have problems bringing this game to America because how they might encounter problems with the "unisex" idea.

re: The Magypsies.

That's who I thought it was. Thanks Aquarys.

No they wouldn't. In today's economy, Unisex isn't really looked down on. Heck, there's a show about auditioning for something that has to go with Unisex. There are Unisex clothes tbh with you, so there really isn't a way that they couldn't bring this to America.

re: The Magypsies.

I would love to see them try then.

Anyways, I wonder if the Magypsies died like a normal human being did? I thought they said they only "disappeared" so do you think they went to heaven (or wherever Hinawa was)

And I hope you guys noticed how they were on the island for many, many years but yet they said nothing about the previous civilization (well very little)

re: The Magypsies.

One of them did, but I don't remember which. And as you said, it was a small amount, but enough to fill you in on what is happening.

They might've, but I personally am not too sure. They could have, as even though you're magic and can live until the item you are binded with is gone, it doesn't change what happens when you are gone. Of course, that's basically my opinion.

re: The Magypsies.

Ohhh you mean that the razor and lipstick is what they're bound to? If so then do you think they're the ones who revive Lucas when he get's KO'd? I mean if they use the last of their strength to revive him... Wait then how come Fassad's razor and lipstick revives Lucas the same way as the others do if he hates Lucas?

Edit: That was Doria I believe

re: The Magypsies.

No, I mean the Needle. When they disappear, it is because the Needle that they were binded to all of their lives is now gone. Of course, they are happy to go, unless the Masked Man pulls it. I never said that they were binded to the mementos, nor did I ever mean to put that in your head if that is what you are saying.

re: The Magypsies.

Karis, just to correct that single, insignificant mistake: Ionia is bound to the needle is Chu... something Island, the one temple's needle. Aeolia is bound to Osohe.
