When you are measuring % in discipline and happines gauges, when the bar reaches full on the lower gauge/empty on the higher gauge* does that represent 50%?

*discipline gauges and happines gauges have a blue and a red bar, when you fill up one, it goes to the other coloured gauge.

What are you talking about? When any one of the bars are yellow, they're more than 50% filled. The discipline gauge and the Happiness gauge are totally seperated, not joined.
Anyway, the yellow colour is of course, better.

It seems we are misunderstanding each other here, or we have a different copy of the game altogether.

I personally own the PAL version of the game, and, the happiness gauges are displayed at the bottom left hand side of the screen, along with the digimon stats screen, but the first one I described has one bar for each discipline and happiness, with me so far?

on each bar, lets take happiness for an example, it has two different colours the bar can pass through, let me explain, say you had the bar empty, as you would for Nanimon, the bar would be coloured red and when you started praising him to raise his happiness, or scolding him to raise his discipline, the bar would slowly fill up with a blue colour then when it reaches full, it starts going up again in a different colour.

Anyway the main point of this was to ask, when you are looking at a digivolution guide and it says under bonus condititions, (Discipline; 90%+) is it reffering to the gauge being 90% full over all, or, 90% full on the first bar.

0 is at the end of the blue face, the 50 is at the yellow face with the white eyes when it is at the lowest, 100% is the highest of the final bar.(forgot the smiley)

Yeah thats the way. In order to get the extra reqiurments you need to half atleast half a happy bar. Then if he is become too undisaplined. Feed him something that he wont eat then scold him. His happiness and disapline will go up.

Discipline Gauge 90 percent full means the YELLOW bar is almost full, or full even better. And I think Kapura explained the other stuff to you. The blue face(on both bars) means the gauge is less than 50 percent full. Red means 0 percent full.

It's not that hard to understand, it's just not like other games that have only 1 colour bar. Sometimes it gets annoying when digimon don't listen to your commands.
