I do believe in SOME theories of Evolution, but not others. Apes into Humans - yes, it probably happened. Pterydactyls into Birds - yes, it is likely. Certain others - I don't believe them.

Evolution has NEVER been "proven" and until time travel is possible or until thousands of years into the future, it never will be.

Guilmon - I study Genetics as well, and I still don't believe some of these theories of Evolution.

ok even traveling into the past wouldn't help, all you would see were species that don't exist now. one cannot observe evolution. but at the same time it doesn't need to be. the fact that there are different ethnicities shows that we are continuing to evolve. different colors of eyes, skin, or hair are all evolved traits. if there wasn't evolution all people would look exactly the same. if you ahve a better way to explain diversity I'd like to hear it. (not meant to sound rude btw..)

Well thats what evolution is, a series of changes/mutations to adapt better. the zebra and horse for instance used to be the same animal, but after being separated one group involved to the type of horses we have today and one group evolved into zebras. I trust the scientists theories on the age of the earth as well because they seem reasonable. Humans have onyl been on earth for a mere fraction of the earths life. one of the main reasons so many disagree with the theory of evolution is because we humans are so vein we'd like to think we are more important than other animals and couldn't have come from the same origin. Once again I'll state that all the theories of evolution has been given more proof than anyone else will ever be able to scrape up for another theory. But I won't force you to beleive me.

evolution is triggered by adaptation to ones environment. I'm talking big change. a rabbit can change it's fur color depending on season for instance, but I'm talking changing major parts of your body to adapt. survival of the fittest you know?

Environmental Adaptation is not the same as evolution.

Eskimos have adapted to living in the cold - but they haven't "evolved" beyond other humans. Those living near the Equator have adapted to living in the heat - they still haven't "evolved" beyond other humans.
