I tried for half an hour to learn Buster Dive with him, against hordes of those blue ogremon things in Freezeland, who used buster dive about a million times, but no go! AND I had over 700 brains! What gives?

the amount of times an enemy uses an attack doesnt increase the chance, and its never 100% chance so it could take 1000 times.

the same thing happened to me when i tried for green trap it took at least 90 tries just because i was unlucky

Still Whamon, but I got really shocked with how good he was. I got a shock to see Greymon come out of Jijimon's house, and my Whamon was HEABILY undertrained. He had about 100 attack/defence, 200 MP/HP, 200 Speed/Brains and his only move was tear drop. All I can say if I gave Greymon a deadset flogging, I think he hit me twice all through the fight.

His Tear drop was going 50 odd damage per hit, and his finish did about 900, so you can tell how long it took. I luckily never let him to his finish, he was constantly in the key chain dot form. So I guess you can safely say now that speed is the most important stat by FAR.

AAAARRGGH!!!!!
I tried to get Numemon today by keeping by betamon's weight at 1(which I did), but he still digivolved into a Whamon!
Here were my stats:
weight 1 (yes, that's ONE)
HP 1000 (just natural I didn't train it)
MP 1800 (from an MP Chip and training brains)
Off 100 (just natural I didn't train it)
Def 100 (just natural I didn't train it)
Spd 110-120 (only trained it once)
Brain 500 (only thing I trained really)
How come I got whamon with these, when he is a heavy digimon? Should I just not train him AT ALL*, while keeping his weight at 1, to get Numemon?

*BTW my tamer lvl is 10, so even my baby digimons have high stats...

Train all others over 100/1000 except MP. For me it worked and I got Numemon. But my digimon was Kunemon. But getting Numemon from Betamon was impossible for me, as it always digivolved into Seadramon or Shellmon. Keep trying.

Since I've got a whamon, I might aswell try to get an ultimate I not got yet. Since I've had Mamemon, the only other option is MegaSeadramon.
So, plz can somebody tell me the requirements for this digimon, like the stats, weight and bonus conditions of the champion? I can't find them on any guide or site (for MegaSeadramon)... Thanks

BTW, I FINALLY learned Buster Dive earlier today, the day before Andromon died, and defeated Machinedramon the third time (second time in Back Dimension)..
