I stand on a balcony wondering what the hell I'm doing here in a hotel when I should be trying to win back my girlfriend's heart.
The light breeze and faint splashes from the sea remind me of how calm I used to be before those assholes dared to interfere.
It's only now I realise what's going on.
2 hands from behind clutch themselves around my waist.
"Come to bed with me, Jaiy..."
I turn around, looking into the face of pure evil.
I open my mouth to spit violence.
"Go to hell without me, Jenny."

My eyes are brown and my heart is black.

I'm a guitarist in a band. It's what I do for a living.
I think that's part of my problem.

But somehow I always end up back in the same place...

Morning in the cafe, where I'm supposed to be meeting the band.
They all entered at once, laughing, happy about the night they had.
They sat down at my table.
For the following conversation; Dave is my bassist, Ladd is my lead guitarist, Greg is my drummer and Chris is my lead singer.
"Jaiy! How you doing? Good night last night?"
"No."
"What? Dude! You were in the poshest hotel with the hottest chick in the town!"
"*bleep* you, Chris." Chris' smile faded. "I spent the night on Rhys' floor."

Oh yeah, Rhys is Nicole's brother.
"Dude, you've got to get over Nicole. She's with Gaz now, she ain't coming back..."
"Gaz?"
"Uh...yeah...they hooked up last night..."
My face was red with anger now. I stood up, held up my drink and spilled it over Chris's t-shirt.
"Thanks a lot, Chris, you asshole!"
I stormed out of the cafe and slammed the door.
What a band meeting, right?

I needed a walk or something...
Gaz? THE Gaz?
Why the *bleep* would she choose him over me?!
GOD!
I *bleep*ing hate Chris! He always does this to me!
"Yo Jaiy! You got a second?"
I turned around and looked at Gaz.
He waddled over to me like the fat shit he is.
"What do you want?"
"Listen, dude...could I borrow £100?"
"What for?"
"I've got to impress N...this girl. ZeroLo's not as good as it used to be..."
"A girl, huh?"
"Yeah. I think she likes sapphires..."

I grabbed him by the neck and pinned him up against the wall of the cafe.
"What're you doing?!"
"You're not taking Nicole from me, are you, Gaz?"
"N-n-no!"
"I'll ask once more."
I brought him back then slammed him against the wall again.
"You're not taking Nicole from me, are you, Gaz?"
"Jaiy! Let go of him!"

"Dave, *bleep* off! This has nothing to do with you!"
"Yeah, listen to Dave..."
I tightened my grip around his neck.
"Shut up!"
"Jaiy, seriously, let go of him, or she'll never take you back!"
"She shouldn't have even left..."
"Well blame Chris then! God damn it!"
I let go of Gaz's neck. He ran away.

"You have problems..."
"I have problems?! Who keeps *bleep*ing me and Nicole up, Dave?"
"Us..."
He paused and thought of something smart to say.
"You can't do this to me forever."
"I know, I know..." He put his hand on my shoulder. "Look, Jaiy..."
"What?"
He looked into my eyes as he scanned his, clearly full of fear.
"...Do you want to go for a pint tonight?"
