Today started normal, but it ended anything but. I woke up this morning, and all was fine. I had a normal breakfast, and went to my normal job, that was when things went bad. I was in the process of building a house with other people. There was a drainpipe where all of the sewage went. It got clogged, so someone was sent down to clean it out, he never came back.

"Where did Pete go?" My boss asked.
"He went into the drainpipe to unclog it, and I haven't seen him since." I answered.
My boss asked around, and got the same answer I had given. No one had seen him.
"Wayland, Josh, Brian get over here."
"Yeah boss?" Josh had said.
"I want you three to go into the drainpipe and find Pete. Something may have fallen on him so I'm sending three people in." The boss told us.

We went into the drainpipe, only two of us came back out. We were deep in the drainpipe when things went wrong.
"What's that?" I asked shining my flashlight on a figure a couple yards away from us.
We ran over to it and were shocked at what we saw. Lying in a bloody heap was Pete...or what was left of him anyways.
"What the hell!?" Josh said.
We turned to run, when we were attacked by a creature. We didn't have time to look at it closely, but what we saw wasn't good. We ran as fast as we could. While we were running Brian tripped and fell.
"Brian let's go!" I yelled.
Brian got up and started to run, but not fast enough. The creature jumped onto Brian, and brought him to the ground. We continued to run, and heard Brian's last screams the whole way until we were out of the drainpipe.
"What's wrong?" Our boss asked when we were out.
We were breathing hard and covered in sweat. "Pete...monster...Brian...dead..."
Josh barley managed to say. After I caught my breath I explained everything to my boss.
"We went down and found Pete in a bloody heap. We got ready to run when this creature attacked us. We ran away from it, but Brian tripped. Before he could get away the monster got him. Me and Josh ran, and that thing must have killed Brian." I told him.
"We have to do something about this, but what?" The boss said.
We ended up calling the police. They went in to search, and I went home.

It's great so far, but...

SPACE IT OUT INTO PARAGRAPHS NOT A BIG CHUNK OF WRITING OKAY

Really, It's hard to read when there's a large clump of words, you need to make it into paragraphs by hitting your enter button twice.

Also, make a new line after one person talks, and the next person replies, then it won't get confusing.

Ok, I edited it. Tell me if that is good.

Much better and more readable.

Today was my day off. I hadn't heard anything about yesterday, and I really didn't want to. I was eating lunch when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I said answering the phone.
"Hello, Mr. Jenkins. This is Captain Helfrick. We would like you to come to the police station."
"Why?" I asked worried.
"We need you to describe all of the events from yesterday. We sent a few men in, and they ran out screaming. We need to know all of the details that you can give." I was told.
"Ok I'll be there." I said then hung up the phone.

I walked into the police station. I looked around and saw Josh sitting in a chair.
"Are you here because of that monster?" He asked.
"Yeah." I answered sitting in a chair beside him.
"Mr. Jenkins and Mr. Prantl the captain is ready for you." A woman said.
We walked into Captain Helfrick's office.
"Hello Wayland, Josh. Have a seat. He said gesturing to two chairs.
"Hi Cody." I said sitting in one of the chairs.
"As you know that monster has already killed two people. We want you to tell us any details that you can. What it looks like, how it acted, what may have made it attack you, anything." Cody said becoming serious.
"We really didn't get to see what it looked like, but what we did saw was a big, black...thing. It looked like nothing I had ever seen before. It acted like...a monster. It attacked us. We don't know what could have caused it." I told him.
"Thank you for your help. If that's all you have to say you may leave." He told us.

Josh and I left. We didn't know what he was going to do, or anything really. We both went home, and tried not to think about it. It was hard to sleep that night, and I dreamt about the monster. The next day only got worse.

I dig nerve-racking stories. For a first piece I'd have to say you did a great job on it.

Maybe the creature wanted to play?

Today was a very bad day. I was putting windows in the house I was building when a S.W.A.T. truck parked in front of us. A bunch of men and women ran out. They all had M16 assault rifles and 9mm pistols. A man ran over to Josh and me.

"Hello, I'm Robbie Baker. Are you the two that have encountered the monster?" The man asked.
"Yes, we are the ones that have seen it." Josh answered.
"Okay, would you like to come with us? We are going down to kill it, and you can give us directions." Robbie told us.
"Yeah, I'll go I want to that thing dead." I said remembering Brian.
"I'll go too." Josh said nodding his head.
"Ok come with me." He said walking to the S.W.A.T. truck.

We walked over to the truck with him, and were socked at what we got. He gave us both a bullet-proof vest, an M16, and a 9mm Pistol in a holster that was strapped to our waist. We walked over to the manhole that led to the sewer where the thing was. We were told how to use the weapons and went in.

"Where is that thing?" Robbie said looking around.
We walked a few more minutes, and then were attacked.
"Fire!" Robbie yelled.
The chatter of bullets filled the sewer as the creature was hit. We continued to fire, but nothing happened. The bullets simply bounced off the monster. It seemed to be angry and howled. More of these things came out, and charged at us.
"Run!" Robbie yelled running away.
We ran as fast as we could away from the creatures. We heard the screams as some of the officers were caught. We climbed out of the manhole, and locked it shut.

After Josh and I were unequipped with our weapons we were told we could go home. I went home, and it was another hard night's sleep. This had to end sometime.

Today was hell. I woke up to my home phone and my cell both ringing.
"Hello?" I said answering both phones.
"Wayland get to the building site, now!" Josh said on one phone.
"Wayland we need you at your building site." Robbie said on the other.
I jumped into my car and sped off.

When I arrived at my building site things were bad.
There were three of the monsters out of the manhole, and more were climbing out.
"What the hell!?" I said running over to Robbie and Josh.
"The broke put about half an hour ago. We have to find a way to kill them now or we're all done for." Robbie said.
I was taken to the S.W.A.T. truck where I was equipped with the same weapons as before, but this time I got grenades, a shield, and a helmet. I put the things on and ran back over to Robbie.

"What do we do?" I asked.
"We are making a barricade around them. Go over there and shoot at them." Robbie told me pointing to where there were some other people.
I ran over and started shooting. The bullets didn't do much, or anything really.
"Throw grenades!" Someone yelled.
I heard people pulling out grenades and I did the same. There were several loud explosions, then howls from the creatures.
"I think we hurt them!" Someone yelled.
He was wrong. Now there were five of the monsters out of the manhole, and more coming still.

I threw another grenade, but it wasn't a frag grenade it was a flash grenade. It exploded and there was a blinding light. I heard a thud, and everyone looked at the monsters. They were on the ground, not dead, but sleeping. Thoughts filled my head. It's dark in the sewer; it's early in the morning; still dark. The flash grenade was bright it put them to sleep. What did this mean?
"Good job Wayland!" Robbie said running over to me.
“Thanks.” I said still thinking.

Tonight was the first night I got a good rest. Who knows what tomorrow will be like?

Sory I haven't posted in a few days I've been busy. I will try to post Thursday because that's when I won't be as busy. So until then give me some comments.

OCC: Sorry I'm late, but I have still been busy. School starts in two days so that only adds to the busyness.

I woke up today refreshed. I called Robbie to ask him about the monsters.

"Hello?" Robbie said answering the phone.
"Hey, Robbie, it's me Wayland." I said.
"Oh, hi, what do you need?" He asked.
"I'd like to know anything you've learned about the monster." I said.
"All we have learned is that light puts them to sleep, but they wake up soon after." Robbie told me.
"Oh." I said somewhat disappointed.
"We are doing research if you would like to come." Robbie said.
"Sure. I'll come." I said.
Robbie gave me an address and I left.

I walked into a building about half an hour later. The room was cold from the artificial chill of an air conditioner. There was a desk with a woman sitting at it typing on a computer. I walked up to her.

"Hello, how may I help you?" She asked politely
"I'm here to see Robbie Baker." I said.
"Ah, you must be Mr. Jenkins. Right this way please." She said standing up.
I was led to a door, when the woman stopped.
"He is in here." She said opening the door timidly.
I walked in and understood why she was scared. Strapped to tables were five of the monsters.

"Hello Wayland." Robbie said coming over to me.
"Hey, what's going on?" I asked looking at all of the scientist and machinery.
"We are doing research. We are trying to dissect one of these, but we can't cut them. We are getting ready to try a laser." Robbie told me.
"Wow, these things are tough." I said shocked.
"The laser is ready!" A scientist yelled.
"Here, put this on." Robbie said handing me a pair of goggles.

The laser blasted at the monster for a while, but still nothing happened. The scientist decided to quit for the day, and tend to all of the cuts they had received, then work more tomorrow. I went home, and called Josh to inform him of what was going on. I went to bed after I hung up. I dreamt about learning something tomorrow, but I couldn't make out what it was.

The next day I woke up, ate breakfast, and left. While I was in my car I carefully examined it for the first time. My car was a dark blue Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The inside had black leather seats, the dash was black, and the windows were tinted dark. I had plenty of money since I lived alone.

I arrived at the building and walked in. It still had the artificial chill. I walked into the room, but something scared me. The five tables were slashed apart, and the creatures gone.

"What happened?" I asked running over to Robbie.
"We all just got here. They are all gone we need to evacuate the building, and then lock it down." Robbie told me. I heard a loud alarm sound, and then heard people rushing out of the building.

"What do we do?" I asked urgently.
"Call the cops; I'll get my S.W.A.T. team out here." Robbie said dialing a number. I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

The cops and S.W.A.T. soon arrived. Josh also got the news and was here.
"Here guys." Robbie said tossing me and Josh the same equipment we had last time, but this time with more flash grenades.
"What do we do?" Josh asked.
"Search the building if you find one just say it over the walkie-talkies." Robbie said.

Everyone left in groups of two. Since me and Josh were untrained we got paired up with S.W.A.T. members. I was with a girl named Sarah. She was a loose girl not very strict like most of the other people. She was friendly and pretty. We walked searching for the creatures. I was hoping we wouldn't find them because I didn't want to get killed.

"Man this is boring." I said after we turned a corner and saw nothing still.
"It always is...until we find something." Sarah said jokingly.
"Let's just hope no one gets killed." I said as we turned another corner.

As we turned the corner we walked almost directly into two of the monsters. They looked right at us, but didn't move. The stood there blankly looking into space. I examined them more closely, and saw that where there eyes should be was nothing. It was just a flat space right over the space. I took a step, and it jumped to alert. I heard it sniffing, and figured it must go by smell and hearing.

"Throw a grenade." Sarah whispered into my ear.
I pulled a grenade off of my my belt, and threw it. It exploded, and a bright light filled the hallway. The two creatures fell to the ground; the others were there in seconds.

Sarah and I stood back to back surrounded by three of the creatures. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sarah reach for her walkie-talkie. I grabbed her hand and whispered in her ear.
"They're blind they don't know we are here, the only heard the explosion. If you talk they might here you and if they don't when someone responds they will here. Someone had to hear the explosion just wait and be quiet."

We stood for five minutes before three groups of people ran up from each side. The monsters turned on them and attacked. Robbie saw and told us to run. We ran away. Unfortunately the others couldn't. There were twenty people when we started when we exited the building only Josh, Sarah, Robbie, and I were left.

"Blow up the damn building." Robbie said into hiss phone.
"What!? There are people in there!" I said shocked at what he said.
"They're all dead I watched each of them die. We are going to blow it up, and get rid of these damn things." Robbie said sounding mad.
He pulled dynamite out of his truck, and we put in around the building.
"3...2...1..." Robbie said before pressing a button making the dynamite detonate.

Thee building exploded. The road was closed and we all went home. Today wasn't a good day, but I figured out my dream. I learned the creatures were blind.

I woke up this morning and crawled out of my bed. I heard my phone beeping, so I picked it up and checked it.

15 Missed Calls
15 New Voicemails

I checked the missed calls, and they were all a combination of Josh, Robbie, and Sarah. I listened to my voicemails, and they all had the same general idea; the monsters weren't dead.

I jumped into my car, and drove to where the lab used to be. There were people all around digging through the rubble. I ran over to Robbie to see what was going on.

"What do you mean the monsters aren't dead? I got your voicemails." I said.
"One was spotted earlier this morning. We've been searching the rubble for the others." Robbie told me.
"So what happens if we don't find them in the rubble?" I asked.
"Right now the town is in lockdown. Everyone is to have there doors and windows locked and to stay inside and watch the news for updates. If we don't find them we will evacuate the town, and we will probably have to call in more S.W.A.T. forces, or maybe even the army." Robbie told me.
"Have anymore come out of the manhole?" I asked worriedly.
"Yes. We had the manhole locked and guarded. When the next shift of guards went to the manhole it was busted open and the guards gone." Robbie said as a police officer ran over to him.
"None of the monsters were found. We need to evacuate the town." The police officer said.


Robbie pulled out his cell, and called the local news station.
"Tell your reporters that we couldn't find the monsters. Everyone is to leave the town immediately. We will need traffic Officers to keep it moving quickly." Robbie said into his phone.
Within ten minutes the sounds of cars leaving could be heard. Robbie called in more S.W.A.T. teams and in about twenty minutes there were more than two hundred S.W.A.T. officers in the town. We were split into groups of five. My group contained Robbie, Josh, Sarah, and Shanell another female Officer.

The town was split into Sectors, and each group was given a Sector to patrol. Each group was set up with someone for different jobs. One person did medical jobs and was equipped with an M-16 and medical supplies. Another person was a strategist equipped with an M-16 and a map of the city. Two of the people were used for attacking equipped with an M-16, a 9mm, and grenades. The last person was the demolitionist equipped with an RPG and a 9mm pistol. Robbie and Sarah were Attackers, Josh was the Strategist, Shanell was the Medic, and I was the demolitionist.

We walked through our sector watching everywhere for these monsters.
"So when we find them are we supposed to open fire on them?" I asked.
"Yes, but you wait for orders to fire since you are carrying an RPG." Robbie said laughing. "You may blow us up if you don't listen."

We had gone around our Sector three times when we got a message.
"Help...five found...the officers down...Sector 14."
That is all we managed to hear. We were Sector 15 so we ran over to help. It didn’t take long to find them. There were three officers on the ground covered in blood. The fourth was behind a metal fence, with the five monsters trying to get him. The fifth was on top of a building taking aim with an RPG. The man behind the fence was screaming. I suddenly knew what to do. I got on my walkie-talkie and said quietly, "Officers of Sector 14, calm down. They can only hear you not see you, they are blind. Stop screaming and move away quietly. After you move the person with the RPG on top of the building and I will fire."
"O...Okay." The two said.
The officer moved away quietly. When he was far enough away the officer on the building started a countdown to fire.
"3...2...1...fire!"
I pulled on the trigger and the grenade blasted out. The force of the blast knocked me onto my butt. The two grenades sailed to the monsters and exploded.
"Run!" I yelled because I knew they wouldn't be killed. We grabbed the three that were dead and ran. We ran to Sector 10 which was where the meeting point was. Everyone was told to retreat back to Sector 10 and we went into a building that one group had been told to reinforce. Some of the less important officers were told they could go to sleep, I was one of them.

Rest came fast for me. Another long hard day would follow tomorrow.

"Everybody up!" Someone yelled.
We all sprung up and stood waiting. Robbie was standing with a man in a military uniform. All around the room were men in military uniforms.
"This is General Helfick." Robbie said. "He is going to take over from now on."
"That's right. Now let's get to work right away. Some of you have been recommended to be part of an Elite Force we are making." General Helfrick said, and then called out names. I was part of the Elite Force. I didn't know why. I had no law enforcement training, no S.W.A.T. training, nothing.

"Now, you are the ones that Robbie and I have decided to lead the final assault on these things. First off we have decided on a name for them. They will be called Monstrum which is German for 'Monster'. Next, I would like to explain why each of you has been assigned to this Elite Force, which will be called Omega Force." General Helfrick said, then started naming people and there skills.

People were part of Omega Force because of there speed, strength, strategic ability, and overall skill. When it came to me I was told that I was fast and strategic.

"Now, we will start planning immediately. Anyone who was a strategist stay here the rest of you can go." General Helfrick said.
Everyone left except for two soldiers that I didn't know, Josh, and me.
"Now, we sent out a group of scouts to find if the Monstrum had a place where they all stayed. We found at least twenty of them in a school. I think what we need to do is send in a full attack on the school." General Helfrick said.
"We need to find a way to actually kill them though." I said.
"You are absolutely right. Some scientist are working together to think of a way to kill them. One Monstrum was captured, and many tests are being done on it. Let's make a plan for now." General Helfrick said.

We began a plan. Our plan was to bomb the building then send an attack in from every side.
"That's a good idea if we can find out how to kill them." I said.
"Well that's good enough for today. You can all go and rest now." General Helfrick said after we spent ten hours making a plan.

We all went to bed, ready to start work on a way to kill the Monstrum.

Sounds really cool.
