Well, I have a question. Are there any writing websites that you guys recommend? I am having so much trouble finding some that I just decided to ask some of the writers on here.

I post at quite a few writing forums (or general forums with excellent writing subforums), but I don't know if I'm allowed to give links. PM me if you're interested; be warned, though, if you have any problems whatsoever with accepting criticism, don't even bother.

As I said before, don't bother unless you can take criticism. They're fairly friendly over there, but they won't hesitate to rip apart your work if they feel it's necessary.

Hello everyone, I'm relativly new here... just wrote a poem, and its pretty twisted so as per usual (in my world) I'd like to get a little feedback. Be as blunt as possible now(if you can). I've not one to take offence i've just never tried a free verse like this...

hello everyone. i post poems here occassionally. i would post my stories but i tend to get writers block a lot. also, i get this insecure feeling that someone might steal my stories...i want to have my stories published someday(i want to be a fiction writer)...if i ever finish them and would love to recieve others comments...so what do you recommend? would you post a story you might someday have published or just leave it be on paper and floppy disks and have friends/teachers(?) read it instead?

I'm glad I'm not the only one insecure about it, but then again the reason for me being insecure about anything is because I barely ever get much feedback. My writing Virtuous.Sins is the one to get the most feedback so far for any story I wrote, and that's the only thing pushing me on to finish the Roughdraft. So my main part of nervousness is: Will they like it? Will anyone comment?

I've had stories to where I thought they were greatly composed and I posted them here, or on other sites, and all I got was one reply or none.

Though with your issue all I can say, is make sure you got some means as say, an original copy of it stored away somewhere. It's proof you wrote the material, and if someone steals it to publish then you might as well give 'em hell when you find it out. Here though I don't think you have that big of a worry because they're rather respectable in that sense in this forum (unless I'm wrong then someone throw a frying pan at me for a change).

Come to think of it, I barely post around this forum anymore. _-_ Ah well, hopefully I can get that to change.

Angel i'm pretty sure someone is gonna like you writing, if its still as good as i remember people should definitely give it a look, i've been in and out of writers block for like 3 months, working on stories, songs, and art (ok art isn't stories but it's creative). Seeing as i'm here i've been cheking out a few and there are some real good ones, really good ones.

Since this is my biggest issue with writing a story, I might as well ask: How do you go about ending your story without finding it hard to end it? Or am I the only one with this issue? BEcause I feel like a lot of the endings I do leave to much hanging in the air, and yet I love those anti-climatic endings also especially when it leaves it open to write way wierd fan fiction about it. I wonder if anyone will ever do that with my Corrupt Faith stuff? After all, Virtuous.Sins is the beginning to the fall of the world into that twisted universe I created.
