I was kinda wondering if anyone has been reading my story The Seer? If not I would like some specific comments on this act. I was wondering if the feel of suspense is there.

I was also wondering how humorous the conversation between the main characters are in this act.

Also how entertaining this, this, and this battle scenes are. I was thinking about redoing them adding and taking away stuff.

Any comments good or bad can be made in the thread itself. I liked to know what works and what doesn't before I move on to the stories conclusion. Thanx in advance.

OH! And anyone think the chapter teasers on the first post are funny or is my off-beat sense of humor working against me there.

I just read the one you wanted specific comments on Zetram and it was really good..

There wasn't as much suspense as you probably wanted there, but there was a good deal.. I found it very-well written, and only found a couple errors, but then again I'm not good at that kind of stuff... I found it more informative than suspenseful, most of it seemed to be with the two people talking and not with Dylon, which held the suspense through the chapter.. And the ending to the chapter does leave a great deal of suspense, but I had not the time to read on...

That was alot better than some novels I've read. Even just that part was a whole lot better... This weekend I'll try and read more of it, and if time permits, some of yours 'KingofWei'

Thanks a lot. I was trying to keep it short and I couldn't stretch out the suspense like I wanted, but if it was suspenseful in the least then I consider it a triumph

Anyone got any pointers on how I can stretch the length of a story without writing down very small detail they did?

This my first time here, one my Neo-friends told be about this site. I post in a lot of RP threads, said my scipts were good. Anyway I like writting just never wanted share them to the world yet. Sonic Hero, my opinion is that a story should be as long as it needs to be. Detail usually makes the story more interesting, unless it's some esoteric facts that few people would know anything about. But things like weather, surroundings, light in a room, objects on a desk, what's on TV, what characters are doing or thinking, etc. are things that can be described with a paragraph or two each. There are thousands more things to describe: just think of the basics and branch out: Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?

And Alfredblade, welcome to the Lounge. I hope to see some of your work soon. But I have to ask--what does your quote mean? It doesn't make any sense to me.

Swords clashed, arrows whizzed through the air, the sky was filled with smoke; the cries of death and the sounds of battle filled all the corners of the world. And in the middle of it all, an epic struggle between the Lord of Darkness and a noble templar.

The great demon swung his axe, throwing an advancing contingent to the side, and charged toward the knight. The man deftly stepped to the side and slashed with his brilliant sword at the passing fiend. The demon whirled and cast a wave of fire at the armor-clad knight. He raised his shield to deflect the flame and pressed forward against the tide of fire. The black creature raised his axe and brought it crashing down onto the knight’s shield, cleaving it in two. The man cast aside the broken shield and slashed once more with his sword, eliciting a roar of pain from the great demon. The creature brought his axe around and slammed it into the knight’s side, flinging him through the air to crash to the ground amongst a pile of broken bodies. The man’s helmet was shattered and his armor cracked. Blood covered his face and his vision swam.

I was wondering if this forum ahd an Upcoming Stories thread, similar to the Coming Attractions thread in the RP forum where we can post information about upcoming work.
