Internet on Wii

Hey, just got my Wii today, and I am proud to ahve joined the Wiivelution. But I want online play.

So I was wondering, is it possible to have a wireless internet box for the Wii, but broadband on the PC, BUT stay on the same monthly rate? So the Wireless picks up the same internet as normal PC one?

It sounds like he's asking if playing Wii online counts as part of your regular internet bill. My understanding is that you just connect like any old PC with a wireless router or ethernet cable...

ok

PC- Broadband Modem

I want my Wii on wireless, without having to have my PC wireless. Is that possible? If so, will it add to the normal internet rates? (Apart from the money the box costs)

re: Internet on Wii

Yes, it is possible, and just about the only way it would work period. Most wireless routers must be directly plug into a PC so you can format/control them.
Once you buy a wireless router, you plug your broadband wire straight into it. Then, you run another Ethernet cable from the router to your PC. Set up the Wifi, and connect your Wii. Simple as that.
And it should not add to your Internet rates, unless you purchase a special repair plan or something from your IP.
