well at 7:05 my wii started too glow im not sure if its a update or not they have posted it and my bro still sleeping so i cant check yet but one things for sure they always seem to update around 7:05
 ah so wii update 3.1 outs and there changing it so u can copy text into search and now links from the wii channels take u right too the internet channel but best of all usb keyboards work HALLOLUUAHThis message was edited by spazerman on Oct 10 2007. | |

Yeah, I got three messages from Nintendo and one was this. What keyboards are compatible? Does anyone know?

I just got this as well; and two other letters from Nintendo. One was for the 3.1 Wii Update, and it said in the letter USB Keyboards can now be used on the Wii Menu.
 Along with that, you can goto the WiiWare section of the shop channel and update your Everybody Votes Channel so it's compatible with the new update, or something like that. I can't remember exactly what it said. The third and final letter was just letting you know that the user agreements, or terms, or whatever have been updated to go with the 3.1 update, and that Nintendo reccommends that you read them. Edit: Along with the E.V.C., there's an Internet Channel update as well. Both can be updated for free in the WiiWare section. Edit #2: It also said that there's a list of USB Keyboards that are compatible with the Wii on www.nintendo.com, I looked, but I didn't see anything about it. WOOT! finally, keyboard and copying text on the internet!
i dont understand what extra the update did to the E.V.C, but the letter said it would break things up by gender,state, and something else. thanks NINTY, now we just need the CHECK MII OUT. i`m also VERY concerned about the WII MEMORY. when is anyone coming out with an expansion as i am in dire need. i saw a 130 Gigabyte USB expansion plug in for 80$ at best buy and i think i might get it (when i can pull together money) but i need the wii to be able to use the memory on that (a.k.a not just copy save files, but add the 1000 + blocks of memory the gigabyte memory cards have. -------------------  | |

yeah me too i just wish wireless keyboards were compatible cuz my wii is next to my TV and the cords arent long enough.. maybe nintendo will make one for me
