Mario Galaxy is BRILLIANT. i only played 15 minutes or so of it but its absolutley wonderful. BUY IT OR ELSE. it comes out Monday, November 12th. Get Guitar Hero 3 for wii if you wanna save about 15$ from the PS3 version. Trauma Center is also a good single player game, very difficult near the end (even on easy!). Mario Strikers Charged, great offline and fun to play online as well. now for racing games. there are the Need For Speed and what not, but i go with the other racing games. Nitro Bike looks almost like motorstorm, there is offline and online multiplayer. Exite Truck is a fun game, it gets a little boring after a while but still a good experience. Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition has all the Features in the PS2 version (as it was a port of PS2 which was a port of the GC) Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals puts together RE:1-3 and Code Veronica, correct me if i`m wrong. This game is a rail shooter and is bundled with The Zapper. There are another 150 games for the Wii coming out before the end of this year so just look around.

Games i HIGHLY reccomend are..
Super Mario Bros 1, Lost Levels, 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Legend of Zelda..I, II:The adventure of link, A link to the past, and Ocarina of time. I would also suggest Metroid and Super Metroid.

As for downloadable content, Wii Ware is coming very soon (Early 08) and the extra channels. Make sure you save 500 Wii points ($5 USD) if you wanna surf the interwebs on your TV. The Mii Channel, Weather Channel, News Channel, Everybody Votes Channel and tomorrow, CHECK MII OUT use the internet and provide fun, even if just a little.

Both my friends are sony fanboys and one of them has admitted to the Wii's Domination over PS3 as the other thinks that PS3 is best no matter what. I`m glad to see that Nintendo has created another great system that change's people's views on gaming.

and if you have never played a Nintendo game before, shame on you. Basically Any Mario and Zelda games are must buys.
Super Mario Bros 3 and Legend of Zelda: OoT you need to get before any other Virtual Console game or any other game for that matter. They are both given the names as BEST GAMES EVER. so use your first 1500 Wii points on them.

yes, you need a Gamecube controller to Play ALL GAMECUBE games. they are..mabey $7 at gamestop. and the Wii remote does not work at all while playing Cube games.
If your getting Resident Evil 4, Get the Wii Version, its shinier than the Cube version, better controls and more content. and its only $30.
Wii points are basically credits to allow you to buy things on the Shop Channel. every Wii Point is worth 1 cent, and every 100 points are $1. you can get them at any game retailer (Walmart, Target, Gamestop, EB Games, etc..) but they cost more and only have one card...2000 points, and they Cost $24 when the real price is $20.
ONLINE, you can use your MasterCard or VISA, you can buy points for their real price and at plans of 1000,2000,4000 and 6000. This way is much easier and you save $4.
The only place you can get them free is in Europe where they had the STARS system which converted into Wii points for every game they had signed up to their MY NINTENDO account. Here in the US, we don`t get that incentive.
