...Because it's Boom Blox! For hours I sat with my recently rented obsession whipping baseballs and bombs at blocks, bomb blocks, purple blocks, and animals that died in comical fashions, giggling like a moron and getting worked up over seemingly innocuous ball tosses.

I wish EA priced it at $40 instead of $50. I could've bought it yesterday at GameStop when I was there for their GameDays sales. Instead I impulsed on Opoona, which was a long overdue purchase >_>

You can send the shattered and exploding structures of the animal brick things flying into them, further disrupting their society!

meh, i may rent it sooner or later.
right now i'm focusing my money on Metal Gear Solid 4 (Collectors Edition) and Guitar Hero: ON TOUR)
and then there are all these great movies coming this summer ( GET SMART, Batman, etc..)

Still waiting for the inevitable "MGS4 being ported to 360!" bit of news. I really don't have a legit reason to get a PS3 right now until White Knight Story. Or FFXIII. Stealth really isn't my cup of tea.

well PS3 has some other great exclusives, BIOSHOCK is also coming to it which is good news.
so you wouldn't mind changing the Disc every like 10 minutes for MGS4 on 360? those damn cutscenes are at least 30 mins each 0_0
Motorstorm and RESISTANCE are also good.
if you were to get a PS3, i HIGHLY suggest the MGS4 bundle (the game, DS3, 80gig PS3 for $499), not to mention that PS3 will have all the features of Xbox 360 next tuesday (In game XMB!!!!!)
but i hope this Wii exclusive has the graphics its boasting, i wanna shove it in my PS3 fanboy friend's faces.

Bioshock is already available for 360 and PC. I don't see why that would be a big selling point for PS3.

I'm grabbing a PS3 for SC4, Disgaea 3, maybe DMC4, and eventually FFvXIII. Also, no stupid 40GB SKU; no castrated versions for me. I'm also building a new computer; so there's ~$1500-$2000. I'm also taking a Vegas vacation.

I'm the type that throws most of my paycheck into a savings account =/ $500 is alot to put down at one time.
Even though the MGS4 bundle is tempting.

The problem with trying to drop money on a PS3 is that aren't any must-have games on the console for me. And it won't be for quite some time.

Out of all the games released, some of them I have the 360 version already (Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, Call of Duty 4), and some simply aren't worth buying a console for, even though it's good (Folklore).

The 360 also has a fair amount of RPGs as well: Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Lost Odyssey off the top of my head. You can throw Mass Effect in there if you call a shooter with stats a RPG. On the way, there's Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia.
