PS3 has a good amount of exclusives, its sorry it wasn't out for an extra year (viva la xbox)
UNCHARTED: DRAKES FORTUNE, once again, is a great game for anyone ( my xbox loving, shooter fanboy loved this game to death) motorstorm 2: Pacific Rift is coming soon as well.
if you have already played halo 3, i wouldnt suggest buying it just so you can play that (as its short and repetetive, CoD4 is much better and more addicting IMO) Metal Gear is supposed to be super epic. we'll hear more at E3 next month (CANT WAIT!!!)
as for features, the HD DVD drive for 360 is useless and epic phail as HD DVDs are now dead....and thats basically all the features it has, besides standard DVD and CD playing and pay for online ( even though PSN >> XBL IMO )
The PS3 has Blu-ray (new format, looks epicly amzing on full 1080p TV), can play HD DVDs as well if you have any of those...things....laying around. it has a Compact Flash, SD, and Pro-Stick Duo ports on it, along with 4 USB and 1 HDMI. PSP connectivity (works really well actually) and the soon to be milestone, IN GAME FULL XMB ( you can acess the whole menu from the middle of the game, not just a slab like with xbox)

I just wish the current top PS3 exclusives weren't all shooters and realistic racing games (which, IMO, are boring as hell). I'm waiting for the RPGs to hit. At the very least the PS3 is region free, so I can import if I want to. Problem is, there isn't much I'd want to import either.

Since I already have a 360, I'll get the multiplatform 360/PS3 games for it because I have it. No point dropping extra money for a possible marginally better version.

I need to get Lost Odyssey. I also need to find more time to play some games. Being at work saps my energy. =(

Blast Works comes out next week. Looks to be one of the best shmups available on the Wii. It's so feature-rich, even with some of the features they had to cut. That game will be awesome.

but i notice there is a noticable difference when you view a game like Call of Duty 4 favouring PS3 in graphics.
Uncharted is an adventure-modern indiana jones like game.

i haven't bought a new game in a while. i've been buying alot of Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 add-ons. and then gamefly eats up $20 a month.

Who is getting Guitar Hero 4? i'm only getting the Drum + Game bundle for PS3 since i already have the guitar and mic (Rock band mic)

By extra money I mean getting a PS3.

I have never found Guitar games, or rhythm games in general, all that fun. I doubt GH4 will do anything to change that, especially at a $180 price tag.

if your a newcomer to the series i suggest just getting the Game + guitar ( the Wii version of GH3 has dropped to $60 in my town )

I feel the same way as you, bbb7002004. My sister obsesses over Guitar Hero. She's always playing them. They've nver really appealed to me though. I had a go at each game, though they didn't really interest me as much as I hoped. (especially with my sister raving at how amazing they were).

I probably get a PS3 this christmas to have every system. MGS4 and FF series are like the only reason I want one.

After being hopefully frustrated vs. Bad Girl in No More Heroes, been playing some Blast Works off and on, while opening up Opoona. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly pleased.

The main reason I've been leaning towards the 360 is that most of my friends have one and I'd be able to play with them. I've also been craving shooters a la Gears of War recently. Unless the PS3 gets some more big titles, I think I'll end up going with the 360.
