And parents were complaining that Nintendo's Zapper looked too realistic! I can't say I plan on buying any of these, but I am interested in seeing how they work (especially that rifle up there).

The only peripheral I'm considering buying is the Nyko Perfect Shot, it seems like a pretty solid gun shell. First I need a game that it would work well with...I might get it with Ghost Squad, if it hits the bargain bin ($15 or so) anytime soon...

Has anyone bought Ghost Squad? Is it significantly improved over the arcade version? I played it a few times, and it was fun, but I don't know if I'd buy it. Any Umbrella Chronicles owners? I don't know why, but I'm in the mood for an on-rails shooter and I might end up buying one of them.

I haven't played the arcade version, but I'm having a blast with Ghost Squad. It's pretty fun, and there's loads of stuff you can unlock, like multiple weapons and costumes.

My friend bought Umbrella Chronicals and we played some Co-Op for awhile. I gotta say it's fun. You do have some control over the camera, as in you can slightly turn left, right, up or down. And I noticed you're always walking and turning around slowly. And pretty much every time you turn around there are 3-5 zombies waiting for you.

But if you don't stop playing a game because you're frightened I suggest you try it out.

Jeez, I haven't posted here in awhile. I got Medal Of Honor 2 Heroes and Heatseeker. Both are pretty good. I don't have online for my Wii still. Which sucks, but the single player MOH is still fun. I think I'll be getting online and Super Mario Galaxy with the rest of my Christmas money. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I got Umbrella Chronicles last week, and have had a blast with it so far. I was also thinking about picking up a perfect shot for this game, to provide a bit more ergonomic position for the hour long shooting sprees I've been embarking on.

Great! The Wii still doesn't have a true RPG released, although quite a couple have been announced recently. Namco is developing Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk and Fragile. Atlus is developing Baroque. Square showed off Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Now we just need a Monolith project, and I'm hoping that it really is this "fantastic", "engrossing", "epic" game Nintendo Power is talking about. I think Monolith is a big enough company to develop two games at once, especially considering Disaster has been in development for years now (I hope we see more of Disaster soon, too!). Honestly, seeing Monolith's list of games, I'd be surprised if Nintendo bought them for a reason other than to develop RPGs. It's one of the few genres Nintendo doesn't have games in.

I'm rather surprised Galaxy won IGN's Game of the Year. I didn't expect them (or Gamespot) to give it Game of the Year. I thought they would give the award to Bioshock and Orange Box, respectively. It's nice to see Mario is still appreciated, even against amazing games like Bioshock (<3) and Call of Duty 4. I mean, Galaxy is still, without a doubt, my favourite, but there were some incredible games this year.
