I looked in the back of my Nintendo Power magazine, and didn't see a mention of a surprise RPG. -------------------

If you want. I believe the price was just raised to $20 for 13 issues (1 issue/month + a holiday issue). It's a pretty decent magazine for about $1.50 an issue, so I'd say it's worthwhile just for the exclusive screenshots they get (since scanning them is illegal and tends to look horrible). quote GreenoNope, it's the February issue. Some people have it right now, others don't. I still don't, but I probably should by tomorrow. The time it takes to reach you depends on where you live. -------------------

It has just been announced that Eternity's Child, a game that is going to be released on the PC and Wii, is going to be a downloadable WiiWare title. It's an interesting game, but I don't think a 2D adventure game would be too successful at retail. However, as a 500-point download, it seems completely worthwhile. With a heavy focus on story, co-op mode, a beautiful art style and reportedly up to 20 hours of gameplay, 500 points is an excellent price. It is going to be released Q2 2008, which should be soon after the WiiWare service launches. quote quoteWhat's interesting about this game is that it was originally going to be released on XBLA, but Luc decided to move it to WiiWare due to XBLA's space constraints. That may have been before Microsoft increased the limit, but it is interesting to hear that size limitations are more lenient on WiiWare than XBLA, despite the Xbox 360 allowing hard drive usage. This could indicate that Nintendo has some sort of storage solution in the works. I hope they do, because 512 MB just won't cut it when WiiWare is launched. Really, it's hardly enough for me right now. -------------------

Only 500 points? Woah, that's really cheap. I might have to look into getting that when it comes out.

Who else is having problems with memory? i have around 20 or so VC games, 25 or more Wii game saves and all the downloadable channels (including interwebz) and i hardley have any space left, i fear that brawl will be the last game i can hold on my little white console. i have had two 2 gb SD cards for a while now (using one for my PS3) but Nintendo refuses to release an update for accepting external harddrives as memory. -------------------

Well, the internal memory the Wii uses is both extremely fast and rather expensive. However, I think an external hard drive, although slower, is fast enough. The PS3 and 360 are both compatible with it and they don't have any trouble using it. If Nintendo simply allows you to add on to your memory using the USB ports, I'll be happy to buy my own third-party hard drive. They should just allow it, though. I believe I'm down to around 800-900 blocks right now and I'm about to download another N64 game (most likely Paper Mario) and buy Brawl, which will take quite a bit away. It's an annoying issue and it should be dealt with before WiiWare comes out. -------------------

I completely agree. Although I only have three vc games atm and still have tons of space left, I plan to buy alot of WiiWare and VC titles in the future. So it would be nice if Nintendo could sort this out.
