will it? |
|
Is it possible for the Wii, and I mean the Wii, to blow up when that power supply(grey thing you attach to the back of the Wii) is plugged into a foreign plug. Or will it only be the power supply? Coz i think i blew up mine... ------------------- ============ Pokemon Diamond ============ Name:Kenn WIFI FC:

Well if you normally hook it up to a 120V outlet and plug it in to a 330V outlet, odds are something would get damaged. It's possible for both the power supply and the console to be damaged. -------------------

You need a converter, don't plug it too foreign outlets without one. What are you trying to hook up exactly? I may be bale to help in greater detail. ------------------- ![]()

I've had just the plug blow up on me, such as with my PS2 (although it wasn't plugged into a foreign outlet, it was a power surge). However, my PS1 was not so lucky. It was plugged into a foreign outlet by a crazy little three-year-old and it burned up. It didn't work afterwards. -------------------

When I went to china, I plugged my DS into the outlet, and it was fine, it just charged normally. -------------------

I believe they use 110 volt outlets in China, don't they? If so, then it should work fine. However, plug it into a 220 volt outlet in Europe and it will destroy it. -------------------
