My money is on either Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Kid Icarus or Animal Crossing. I've already stated my Mario and Zelda explanations, but Kid Icarus is just one of those games that they seem to want to revive. I might be just shooting the crap here, but Pit wasn't put in the SSBB roster JUST because he would be a cool fighter. Look what happened with Marth and Roy in Melee, they put them in there, then they started releasing all of those Fire Emblem games in North America. So that possibility is still up in the air. You could say the same thing with Olimar being put in the roster and a new Pikmin game.

We've been given little to no information on the new Animal Crossing game, yet there's been reports that the game is going to be released in Japan in June. Wikipedia has a link or something. If that's true at all, then we should at least see a video. AT LEAST. Then the only info we have on Star Fox is when Miyamoto said he thinks that "we can do a lot with the Wii's unique controls". Hopefully, if we're lucky, we'll get to see all six of 'em.

That's what they say. But of course, don't be surprise if there's some slight delays like with Smash Bros. Brawl.

Though with the way Nintendo is going, third-party titles seem to be the only originality that Nintendo is getting lately. It's just a shame that those titles either suck, or aren't promoted well enough.

It almost seems to soon for another epic Mario game. I'm hoping Animal Crossing, to be honest. I never really got into Wild World, which resulted in my playing the Animal Crossing for the GCN, which I'll still play from time-to-time.

IGN has been hinting at something like this for awhile, and my personal feeling is that it will be Kid Icarus.

Disaster has already been announced, and was shown a bit at Nintendo's Media Summit last fall. It is way too soon for another Mario platformer, and I somehow doubt we will see a new Zelda this year. Not enough time to put out a really quality product.

They released a couple new screens, but not much else. There should be a Nintendo Summit thread floating around this forum somewhere with all the images from the conference in it.

I doubt it will be kid icarus (probably wrong) but I think in the interview Reggie said something along the lines of boosting key franchises and i don't think that kid icarus is really a key franchise for nintendo

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a re-hash hyped Mario or Metroid game. Its bound to happen, its Nintendo were talking about, they haven't made anything original in years. Or at least none that i know of.
