Main character looks like the bastard child of Kyon and Lloyd; same for princey, but of Joshua (TWEWY) and Enrique (Skies of Arcadia), mysterious waif makes me want to facepalm continuously and indefinitely, and Adele... well, very want

Luminous Arc was good, especially the writing and voice acting. Some of the jokes fell flat, though. Battle system could've used more balance, too - the cooler a super move was, the less practical it would be, to the point of ridiculousness, and the character with the coolest concept was all but useless. Why must the dugong get the short end of the stick?

I haven't played a turn-based RPG in a while... I sorta miss it.

Arc Rise Fantasia will be PLAYABLE at the Tokyo Game Show in October.

Arc Rise Fantasia (Wii/MMV/Winter)

- A party consist of 3 characters, the longer the same characters stay in the party and battle, the stronger their bond grows. As this intimacy bond increases, there will be visible effects.
- A single character can pull off a combination of attacks with "single connect", while multiple characters can pull off a combination attack on an enemy with "party connect".
- If all 3 party members use a special "Excel act" attack on the same enemy, it turns into a super attack callde "trinity act" that does huge damage.

Graphics looks beautiful.

Every console needs a good RPG. The 360 has Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssy,and Final Fantasy Xii. The PS3 is getting FFXIII and White Knight Chronciles. The Wii is finally filling its genre gap.
