It looks like endless ocean, but with better graphics. Since when was the title, what is better, endless ocean or aqua? Can you guys get back on topic?

I rented it yesterday, and I returned it today. It just wasn't my type of game.

Exactly.

Id rather get a game for the Wii that has already great graphics and great gameplay, and is packed with fun, then go out and buy the stupid PS3 for 1 game thats probably exactly like Endless Ocean.

Endless Ocean puts you in the roll of a scuba diver, allowing you to explore ocean environments, interact with sea life, etc. You can perform jobs such as finding rare fish or giving tours to open up new areas to explore, as well as dive together with a friend over the Internet.

That's about all I remember, I don't have the game personally.

Your main "quest" in the game is to find the "Ancient Mother", a gigantic whale. You do this by searching through Spooky ruins, the dark abyss, and also by tracking down certain sea-life and snapping pictures. You can also put fish you know a lot about, whcih you gain information by petting and feeding the fish, into an aquarium. Theres a lot more then it may seem at first. You can also complete certain mini expeditions afetr words like exploring the sunken ship, and finding the Ghost Ship which I believe leads you there.

I noticed a lot of people in this thread that think EO is crap haven't even played the game. This happens a lot for the Wii doesn't it?

Anyway, the people in this thread who have made sense and not compared it to a game that isn't even out yet have convinced me to check out this game.

I think it just depends on the person playing, and I guess a scuba diving game doesn't exactly appeal to a lot of people. Lack of hype should be expected for games like these, unfortunately.

You get to swim and talk to fish. Yippee.

I was actually considering getting this game, but then I remembered that the ocean scares me shitless.

If it's very dark underwater and I turn around to see a giant *bleep*ing squid... I'd need new pants. >_>

Its very scary indeed, but its actually very fun, which for some reason people dont see, unless they play it of course.

God dammit. I have played it. It's not scary, it's not good, it's a matter of opinion. Stop complaining, just because other people don't like it. If you like, good for you. It depends on the player.
