I just noticed, the environments have a very pastel, papery look, very reminiscent of Okami. +5 awesomeness points.

I'd like to see the Dr. Mario viruses make a major appearance. As a kid, they were always some of my favorite characters. While never really featured, I always imagined that they would have fun personalities, just from their expressions. Blue looked like a sly trickster type, with yellow the semi-depressed half-glass-empty type, and red the crazy idiot type.
