DSi has the opera browser built in.
The DSi Browser will be available for free download from DSiWare when the DSi launches. It will make use of the onboard memory.

Yeah, just realized that while watching the press conference.

Anyway, Dragon Quest 9 sounds really good.

re: Nintendo Fall Press Conference 2008 - DSi, Sin & Punishment 2, Punch-Out!! Wii, Trace Memory Wii (56K WARNING)

I think there will be some internet hate on the fact that the storage solution isn't really doing anything. From what Iwata said, while you can download straight to the SD card, you still have to have it on your system memory to play.

Because then we'd need an amnesia solution?

Really? I thought you would be able to play directly off the SD card! If not, that's not really a storage solution at all...

re: Nintendo Fall Press Conference 2008 - DSi, Sin & Punishment 2, Punch-Out!! Wii, Trace Memory Wii (56K WARNING)

Its unclear at best. They have never said you can play directly off the SD card, just that transfer will be made much easier.

re: Nintendo Fall Press Conference 2008 - DSi, Sin & Punishment 2, Punch-Out!! Wii, Trace Memory Wii (56K WARNING)

I infered that we can do the following:

1. DL games off the Shop Channel directly to SD ccards, but not play them off SD cards.
2. The transfer will become quicker.

Not exactly a storage solution, its just making the problem quicker, not eliminating it.

For anyone interested in the new mothership Tales, this is supposedly a photo taken of the game;

I think this comic pretty much sums up my feelings for the first part of Nintendo's press conference:

Yay! Another generic comic with long text boxes. SWEET! LETS READ IT ALL! =D

Not.
Anyways, a new Nintendo DS? Wow is all I have to say to that and hell yeah, 'cause my shitty NDS Lite is broken anyways so now I just gotta save up for that baby.

And, if I am correct, there is no US release date on the NDSi right?

re: Nintendo Fall Press Conference 2008 - DSi, Sin & Punishment 2, Punch-Out!! Wii, Trace Memory Wii (56K WARNING)

Not yet. It won't be coming out for a while in North America (no earlier than April). My DS Lite suddenly stopped working and I was planning to get a new one, but I'll probably just wait for the DSi instead.

Which means I'm going to have to wait at least 7 months >_>...
