Hrm, there's actually more game on the Wii that I'm looking forward to than the 360 or PS3 right now.
1.Red Steel 2 While I was hoping they would improve the pseudo realistic look of the first game, the cel-shaded graphics are some of the best I've ever seen. Not only that, the shooting and sword elements could really be amazing - let's hope it works out better than the first game. 2. Metroid Prime Trilogy It's coming within a month, and I can't wait to play through Prime 1 (and to a lesser extent, Prime 2) again with pointer controls and (hopefully) true (non-Bioshocked) 16:9 widescreen. 3. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Everything that I've heard so far about the game seems very promising, though I'm a bit worried that this will fall victim to the hype. Some of the gameplay demos I've watched look great - others look like something out of a PS2 game. 4. Dead Space Extraction Loved the original game, and the graphics for Extraction blew me away when I saw them. Finally a Wii game that matches (maybe even surpassing) Original Xbox visuals. Though this seems to come at a price - the game is on-rails. Even so, I'm a big rail-shooter fan anyway, so I'll be sure to pick this one up. 5. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles I loved the original Umbrella Chronicles and bemoaned the lack of RE2 and RE:CV scenarios in the game. While current reactions seem to be mixed, I'll still admit the inner Resident Evil fanboy will make me buy this no matter what the reviews say (just as I did with Umbrella Chronicles). As for 2010, I can't wait for Metroid: Other M and The Grinder. Scribblenauts may also be the first DS game I'll buy in years. | |

My list is pretty much the same as Niemo's. Although I'm pretty sure Darkside is coming out in 2010.

I'm definitely going to pick up that MP Trilogy come August, it'll be great to get a fresh start before working through Echoes and Corruption.

As long as this prevents another Red Steel one, I'm okay with it. This also frees up some room this holiday with so many other titles I want hitting.

I'm glad that they did it though. After reading some previews of it during E3, it didn't really seem like they were making the most out of the WiiMotion Plus and it wasn't going to be the type of motion controls everybody was expecting. As long as they take the time to fix it and deliver the Red Steel we all want to see, I'm perfectly satisfied with the delay. I'd rather wait a few more months to have it fixed than a couple of years for a sequel to rectify the mistake.
