quote BASS ULTRANo. I don't want motion control at all. So far most games have just been gimmicky and not fun. Thankfully most of the Wii games i own can use GC controllers as well. :/ ------------------- ![]() I just want to set you on fire, so I don't have to burn alone;

Well, as with any new gen system, the graphics would surely have to improve. I'd also like to see a new technological function apart from the motion controls of the Wii included, but something that would be fully compatible with the Wii system entirely in order to compliment the Wii's current functions with that of the new system's(whatever that may turn out to be).
Nintendo's icon character, Mario, and all of his Smash Bros. buddies would no doubt need to return with their own titles along with SSB numero '4'. And that's all I have for now. (Just please, for the love of God, Nintendo, do NOT name it "Wii 2"!) -------------------

Well considering they never name anything too similar apart from Gameboys and NES/SNES I would guess it won't be called Wii 2. Maybe They'll call it Revolution haha.

Wiivolution.
Or, Wiivolve sounds better. It stands for 'We evolve' meaning that this console is 'evolving' motion sensor technology. -------------------

They should name it the *bleep*.
For reals though, I reeaally hope Nintendo produces a beefier console in terms of power and capability. When I play online, I would like to have more than 8 people in my CoD5 matches, ya' know? As for motion controls, the Conduit has shown gamers that the Wiimote works superbly good for FPS control (Even more so than a mouse and key pad to some), so I hope they further develope the Wiimote and whatnot. ------------------- Transformers Episode One: The Hunt is finally complete! Please, constructive criticism is highly welcomed! *Now with silly transformation sounds*

Even though the controls for The Conduit are very good for an FPS I still suck at it(online) since I'm not used to it yet. Keyboard and mouse still owns all though.

re: The next gen Nintendo system |

I like that Nintendo tries to stay clear of being competition for Xbox and Sony and just tries to do there own thing. But lately I'm feeling less and less loyal to Nintendo and more interested in playing my bro's 360. I really love the big N, but some of the games out on the Wii and the DS - "What are you thinking letting that on your system Nintendo!?" lol
So I'm really hoping the next gen nintendo system is more of a core-gamer console, although I doubt it will be. I love it how everyone's calling it the "Wii 2" as if they are lame like Sony. It makes sense but Nintendo is more original then that (Most of the time lol)

I hope they include more games for the maturer audience. I couldn't give two about all these Wii Fit/ Ea Active things. All I care for is some hardcore solid fun. Not silly little ports and half polished games.

re: The next gen Nintendo system |

I was looking through one of my old Nintendo Power magazines, and inside was a preview of the SNES. It had some pictures in there of what the SNES almost looked like in it's early stages of production, and all but one really looked like shit. The one that looked actually pretty cool, if you looked closely enough, it had "Nintendo Entertainment System II" written on it.
Which made me think why the NES was really called an "Entertainment System" to begin with. Back then, they didn't have the technology like we do today, and gaming wasn't the only form of entertainment. But by today's standards, you could truly have another Nintendo Entertainment System, call it the "NES III" or something of the sort, and have it be true to it's name. Make the graphics as powerful as PS3/360 graphics, allow us to watch DVDs and listen to CDs, and keep allowing us to download games from WiiWare/Virtual Console. I know it would never happen, but I thought it was a pretty cool idea. -------------------

Well, I think they would keep the motion controllers, just improve the hell out of them. Nintendo makes a killing out of gimmicky graphics, so you know, I doubt that'll change much tbfh.
All I can really ask for is a great HDD and a beefed up processor. ------------------- ![]()

There probably won't be another Nintendo console. Nintendo will push the Wii until they die. It'd be nearly impossible for them to convince the casual fanbase (their primary audience) to purchase a whole new system when they are already satisfied (or bored) with the current Wii.
"Hardcore" gamers (that aren't Nintendo enthusiasts) will likely pass up a new Nintendo console because the graphics will still be GCN level - maybe even worse. Friend Codes will also remain along with the lack of voice and multimedia features. No way Nintendo will bother making any of their consoles any more powerful. Miyamoto has already stated himself that the graphics for GCN/Wii are perfect and can't get any better.
