Component Cable |
|
I was just wondering if it is worth it to buy the component cable for my Wii? Do the games actually look much better with it?
Also, does anyone know if the wireless sensor bar is any good? ------------------- ![]() Wii: 2909-9932-6412-3857 Brawl: 3866-7691-9411

quote JonnyPotSmokerGenerally yes, but if the specific game doesn't support 480p then no. quote JonnyPotSmokereww I'd reccomend using an SDTV over and HD myself. ------------------- ![]()

I have component cables, and the images are definitely sharper. I bought mine mainly to free up my AV jacks though, so the value really depends on how much of a video nut you are.

Yes, games look terrible on an HDTV without component cables. Get them immediately.

Oh yeah and with composite cables on HDTV's, there is this horrible lag.
its still like that with components but its nowhere near as bad. ------------------- ![]()

re: Component Cable |
quote TwilightPrinceWell I'm at home for the summer (from college) so my Wii is hooked up to the SDTV in my basement because the area is pretty spacious and is where me, my brothers, and friend all hang out when people are over. But when I go back to school in the fall I will have my Wii hooked up to my HDTV again which is why I was wondering. How does the image compare on the Wii between an SDTV and HDTV with component? Does anyone know if the Conduit supports 480p? Where do you check to see if they do, back of the box? Also, anyone else have an opinion on the wireless sensor bar? If it has a delay or anything I won't get it. ------------------- ![]() Wii: 2909-9932-6412-3857 Brawl: 3866-7691-9411

A wireless sensor bar shouldn't have any delay, all the sensor bar does is shine infrared light for the Wiimote to pick up. The only issue is battery life.
