quote ShortManThe games not even out yet, I wouldn't count on it. Even if all feautures are integrated, it will be laggier and/or slower matchmaking. Though the pointer control can really make it better. However graphics are a huge hit. The best part about the CoD4 campaign was the intense feeling of immersion, but it won't be nearly as strong on the Wii version sadly. Still, if it is half as good as the 360/PS3 versions it will be Wii GOTY easy. ------------------- quote SeaNanners

Go Shortman, win 20 virgins. What a debate this has turned out to be, loads of thread views but no-one new has posted in the forum haha. Still, the forums pretty active and there's quite a few forum regulars there who are up for a chat and would love to take you on when the game comes out. Cheers ------------------- ![]()

quote Akira_EXWhat? I love CoD4 sooooo much. It's in my top 5. And I have yet to play Muramasa. Then again, NSMBWii is coming out....change my statement to "one of the best Wii games of 09" ------------------- quote SeaNanners

quote Dragon ZEROShorty meant that PS360ers are jealous of the new stuff we're getting that they didn't have. MW Reflex will easily be much better than just half as good as the original. In regards to the graphics... while the wii will obviously take a hit, I don't think it'll be too bad. CoD5 on wii was pretty good graphics-wise, and this game is using an updated "optimized" version of that engine. The lazy bastards at Activision hasn't released any media for the game yet, so we'll still have to wait and see how this turns out. -------------------

I didn't say better than the original game, I said better than half as good lol.
New things include the pointer, fully customizable controls, host migration, and new cheats. There might be some other stuff too but I'm too lazy to look it up right now. -------------------

The Conduit was pretty good, but CoDWAW was probably better and MW Reflex will certainly be so. If I were you I'd wait.

To correct those of you who believe that only the control scheme is new to Modern Warfare, also new is fully customisable options, new cheats and all new host migration so instead of booting everyone back to the lobby, the game finds a new suitable host to keep the game running.
This game is going to be amazing on the Wii and will definitely retain the top spot for FPS. The Conduit was ok but not as good as WaW and with MWR just around the corner, it has lost out. ------------------- Squad 11 vol.1- Join Now~The Legend Of Zelda II Wii~COD: Modern Warfare 2~GD II Welcome to the War Room

quote KYOOBIKLEEZCustomizable controls and pointer go into the same category. And I don't think there will be any jealousy over cheats However host migration is very big plus. quote ShortManThere's no question about that, the question I sparked was will it be better than the original. ------------------- quote SeaNanners

Better than the original? Maybe. Besides from the graphics and the amount of players in each game(which could be seen as a plus or minus) it has everything that the others had plus more. Graphics do not make a game up, its the other things that count as well.
I do believe that this will be as good, if not better than the other versions. If you want to know more, head over to the forum now and check out some of the threads. ------------------- Squad 11 vol.1- Join Now~The Legend Of Zelda II Wii~COD: Modern Warfare 2~GD II Welcome to the War Room

It's more than just graphics. It may have all the modes and maps, but the Wii's less power doesn't affect just graphics. Enemy AI will take a hit. Load times will be longer. Matchmaking will be slower. Lag and/or glitches will happen more. The power of the console affects more than just graphics.
And just for future reference, has anybody here besides me played it on the other consoles? ------------------- quote SeaNanners

The developers have promised that they will sort out any glitchers. The servers will be fine so no more lag than the other versions have. Enemy AI are going to be fine based on the difficulty level. And even in World At War, the load times were a lot quicker than the other systems. Sometimes you have to wait ages for the match to start on the PS3 or Xbox. not on the Wii.
Yes I have played it on the PS3 and I found that it was very good. And when I pick up a copy of Modern Warfare, I will compare the two and find that the Wii version is better... ------------------- Squad 11 vol.1- Join Now~The Legend Of Zelda II Wii~COD: Modern Warfare 2~GD II Welcome to the War Room
