Alright. Let's assume that the versions have the same online. That leaves us that the only advantage the Wii has is control scheme (which some people, like me, hate for FPS) and host migration, while the oter versions have superior graphics. This essentially means that, assuming online is the same, the versions can be about equal in quality, but the Wii will never surpass the others.

You don't have to have superior graphics to be a superior game. MOH:H2 was a helluva lotta fun and it looked like someone took a crap on it.

I just came across a nice little tidbit of information... one of the developers working on MW said on Gamefaqs that the lag for this game will be much better than WAW and will be pretty much the same as the other systems. He also said that they will have a way to issue "fixes" to patch up holes and stuff in the maps whenever glitches are found.
Sounds pretty damn good. -------------------

quote KYOOBIKLEEZWaW is a terrible FPS. Only good thing about it was zombies. If it wasn't better than WaW I would have to kick every guy at Treyarch in the balls. quote KYOOBIKLEEZI can believe it to be of similar quality in MP (not better though), but not nearly as good campaign-wise. CoD4s campaign is epic, filled with shocking moments, and is very immersive. A lot of the effect comes from the engine it ran on. ------------------- quote SeaNanners

The campaign will be amazing on the Wii no matter what the graphics look like. Even the pre-beta screenshots looked fairly decent for the Wii. Put aside the graphics, because they are not the only thing that makes a game better or worse, and look at the other things. Pretty much everything else is the same as the other versions plus a couple of new additions. This game will be better than the other versions, if not equal to them.

Remember, graphics are important in the campaign for immersion. It will still be "fun" but will lack that immersive feeling (which my spell checker hates, apparently "immersive" isn't a word
quote ShortManFor the Wii. That is my problem right there. I'm a fair person. I compare every console game to each other. I will never say "good for a Wii game" partially because it seems unfair, and partially because to me, it sounds like an insult to the Wii. I could say "The Conduit is good for a Wii FPS," but I don't. Instead I rip it apart until all thats left is shattered bones. Because that's the fair way to do things. ------------------- quote SeaNanners

I do too treat every console equally. They all have their ups and downs and one of the Wii's cons is that it cannot handle high quality graphics like the other consoles, yet.
And The Conduit was crap in my opinion. The trailers and videos on Youtube put me off it. ------------------- Squad 11 vol.1- Join Now~The Legend Of Zelda II Wii~COD: Modern Warfare 2~GD II Welcome to the War Room

Actually I'm going to have to disagree with you. Despite not having aa many features as the other versions, World At War was classed as the best FPS for the Wii. The Conduit couldn't knock it off its perch but MWR will.

Lol most people who like The Conduit have been brainwashed by all of the developer hype. They were promised so much they must have went stir crazy when the game came out and kicked them in the teeth. There are plenty of good shooters that haven't got as much attention... House Of The Dead Overkill Dead Space Extraction Call Of Duty World At War Metroid Prime Trilogy Modern Warfare Reflex Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles People just need to look outside the borders. And ffs, this thread was meant to try and build up some more activity and to incourage Activison to continue COD on the Wii and not leave it out through buying their game! Can't we troll somewhere else? ------------------- ![]()

quote Dragon ZEROUgh, you took those snippets completely out of context. I wasn't saying anything about campaign or how this game will compare to WAW, and I wasn't saying the overall MP would be as good as the other versions (I'll say it now, though: it is.), I was only talking about how the lag will supposedly be better than WAW's (which wasn't that bad, and that's sayin' something when you live in Hawaii) and equal to MW on other systems. Lag doesn't occur in campaign I'm gonna have to disagree with you on WAW, too: it's a great game, full of fun-ness. -------------------
