I know of three games that can't be saved to the Wii:

Geometry Wars Galaxies
Mario Kart Wii
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Are there any others? Also does anybody know WHY you can't save them to memory card? I think it's stupid because if your Wii system gets corrupted, you'll have to replay all the games that you cannot save.

Everything with interactive online play.

Because they don't want you just giving a save file to someone without them having to work for the content that others have earned.

Although that makes sense, that is still stupid of them to do. There are memory cards (or bootlegs most likely) on ebay of games like that. Why should they care whether or not people share their saved data? I can share my saved data with somebody with Zelda: Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and several others. I don't know why they didn't take away the ability to copy those to memory cards.

If you could copy those files, you would have multiple copies of the same Friend Code online at the same time, since FC's are tied to game files.

If that is the case, then why couldn't you copy F-Zero GX from one memory card to another back on the Gamecube? And the Gamecube didn't have online play that we have now.

There are ways though, using homebrew, to move files like that onto an SD card, but I don't recommended it for the reason bbb said.

I've never played it, so I don't know what could be an issue, but it could be the same reason you couldn't copy the GC Pokemon games' files: cheating.

To answer the topic question: Basically all the ones with online play.

GX had the whole Arcade connection thing, which is probably the reason they didn't let you transfer. Pokemon was just to keep you cheating people from cheating, pure and simple.
