The Wii's real problem at the moment is that it's best game is also a GC game.

Next year, when the other big 1st party games start coming out, yeah, but until then, just get TP on the Gamecube.

So far, no. I can't think of one reason for me to buy a Wii, as none of it's launch games interest me one bit. None of the games for the next 6 months interest me either, so I might look into one 1-3 years from now.

In general, I'd say the price is about right. It's a lot less technologically advanced than the 360 or PS3, and they cost a few hundred more, so the price looks alright for the Wii.

None of the next gen consoles are worth their prices at the moment. But they are what they are, and the prices aren't going to change too soon (except for maybe PS3's, I talked to a man whoworked for Sony last week and he said is considering lowering the price to $400-$500 in either jan or feb) so deal with them.

The PS3 is losing shitloads of money per unit sold as-is, Sony really can't afford to lower prices further.

It is great fun, play it alone or with a few friends or at a party, whatever way you choose everyone will take to it and have a laugh. A load of my relations played it and are now wishing they could get their own ones (not all of them were gamer before hand). If you like Nintendo's games series or classics then you all but must get it. I have found more and more gamers I know are becoming fond of it. As for the people saying that Nintendo is making a profit and Sony is suffering a loss, one question, which takes more from my pocket because that is the only thing I, and a lot of other gamers, care about for the price.
