No it's not. My friend imported it. I've played it quite a bit at his house. You can race with 3 others.
The Japanese version didn't have ONLINE. It had multiplayer, but it just didn't have online.

Zelda. If you are any kind of gamer, Zelda. Superb game, even running on Gamecube hardware. It's controls, although added, are great. The graphics, although using only half the raw power and none of the functions the Wii has that the GC doesn't, look beautiful thanks to the compelling art style. It should last at least 60 hours on the first run, 80 for completionists, and can be played again with much enjoyment.
From there on, it depends on what you want. Rayman is actually very fun, if you like party games(although the single player is great, too). Pretty decent all around, but excels in gameplay(great usage of the Wiimote). Not that long, though, but replayable.
I've heard good things about Call of Duty 3, although not as good as it's 360 counterpart due to lack of any multiplayer(40 player online in the 360 version). However, the controls are supposed to be the best FPS controls on the Wii and the best in the series. It is visually lacking(somewhere around the XBox version, although the Wii can handle much more) and has no multiplayer, but a good single player campaign.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz looks like a very fun game, really. Sort of a balance-ish based game. I loved SMB2, so Banana Blitz(with the new, improved controls) and more fitting graphical style(the old one looked plasticy, cel shading looks better). 50 minigames, as well, although most of those suck. 100 adventure levels, which are supposedly very fun, much longer than levels in SMB and hard as hell near the end. It's easy as first, but if you want a challenge, you may need to play a while.
Trauma Center; Second Opinion looks fun, as well. Although not that long, it is a challenging surgeon simulator. I've never played any of the games, but they all look good. I was thinking of buying Under the Knife for the DS and am considering at least renting Second Opinion for the Wii.
You may want to consider other titles like Exite Truck and Red Steel, if that is what you are looking for. It really depends.

so what do you recomend It all depends on what you like. Wii has a game for everyone. If you're a fan of action/adventure games, then get The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. If you're a fan of shooters, then get Red Steel or Call of Duty 3. If you're a fan of party games, get Rayman Raving Rabbids. If you're a fan of racing games, get Excite Truck. If you're a fan of sports games, get Madden NFL 07.

one last thing, i have zelda dragon ball z madden and of course wii sports and i rented super monkey ball
First of all, Zelda, it's a great, fun game thats really really boring at the beggining but as u get like 3 to 4 hours into it it gets fun + i love the wiimote usage of sword.
Next, Dragon Ball Z, Awsome, Amazing,Extreme not enough to say about it you would love it if u don't even like Dragon Ball Z. But, if u get to into u'l play it insanely and be done in like 3-7 days it depends how addicted u are.But yet again its very very fun with 120(130 i cant remeber) characters!
Then here comes Madden. If ur a football fan u'l love it with great controls, fun gameplay, and good laughs when u beat San Frinsisco with the Colts 97-0. But anyway lets get back on track, its just really fun. But, s we all know madden its better when ur facing real people on multiplayer.
Well, every one that has a wii has wii sports unless the sold it or gave it away.
Ugh, Super Monkey Ball. Worst game i have EVER EVER played! Terrible controls. Im not just saying this cause its a childish games in most of which i like. I loved the old super monkey balls where you actually got to move the monkey. In this game you tilt the wiimote and the map tips the same way moving your monkey.!.!.!
Call of Duty 3 would be better recommended on the xbox 360. I'm a HUGE fan of CODs. But i heard that if u move the curser of map for 1/2 seconds, you start spinning in circles other than that i heard it has great controls but u might want to start out with COD 2 cause 3 is ALOT harder.
Red Steel.I heard from the guy that recommended all my games that i have,(and did a great job with it)said that this game stunk. You have to stand completely still through the whole game which some of u might be able to do in which i can't. I heard it had clumsy controls and isnt recommended.
so i hope this helped you in ur choices.send me a pm with ur friend code and telling me u got this post please and wii could biicome wii friends

1. Do not double post. Use 'edit' to add to your previous post.
2. quoteBACK TO SUBJECT would the wii be worth $1000 if it was?
Erm, that ISN'T the subject. The subject is Are Nintendo Wii's worth $250. The answer is yes. 3. Get Call of Duty 3, Tony Hawks DHJ, LOZ TP, Wii Play, Redsteel and NFS Carbon 4. YOU technically changed the subject three times. 5. quote Neoseeker Rules
Do not double post unless completely necessary, eg your last post was 2 months ago and you have something to update on the topic. Click edit and edit your post to add more info to it instead.

1. So you should be editing it yeah?
2. Don't even think it's back on subject. A difference between $250 and $1000 is a lot. Mmkay?
3. Nty, I don't want to waste my Inbox space on a low-life. =]

It's worth it. It's different, i mean using the wiimote as a sword, as a tennis racket, or even a golf club... You don't get that with a PS3, or a 360. Its graphics as far as i know are just like the the gamecube, but nintendo went with new things like the wiimote, NOT graphics. And then there's games. Look at the games on the PS3 and 360. Then look at the ones on the Wii. Its more then worth it.

YES!!!..... the Wii owns Mii! But I think the PS3 sucks. It's over rated! The PS3 is not worth $600. I would pay like $400 for a Wii.
