For the past day the D-Pad on my Wiimote hasn't been responding at all, but everything else works, it's just that the D-Pad won't respond D:

I've also tried new batteries and synchronizing the control and the console. Even turned off my lights and nothing;(


Just my luck my Wiimote breaks when I haven't even had my Wii for a full week yet... just got it this past Sunday xD


Is there anything I can do?

Contact Nintendo. If you bought your Wii new, it and the Wiimote should still be under warranty, and Nintendo should send you a new one.

Are you sure that it isnt just stuck? if not that though do as bbb said.

Nope it's not stuck, I am sure of it.


I was planning on contacting Nintendo anyways, just wanted to see if I could do something else before doing so.

I'm not worried about warranty, as I have a 4 year one on it :3

wait did you get it from gamespot and if so did you purchase the extended insurance policy

Nope got it at Target, they have an extended warranty 3 years for 30 bucks. Then Nintendo gives you like a year warranty, and if you an NSider member and enter the serial code you get a extra 90 days to you warranty.
