So is there anything I have to enable to move with the keyboard. I am probably over-looking something pretty basic but it wont let me move without the mouse and it wont let me leave the tutorial.

2 Things you could try to do that worked for people:
1. Press CTRL Z in game, right-click and select "use". 2. When you're in game, click the AI icon, and click it again. I read somewhere that the keyboard worked after that. Not really reliable solutions probably but it was all I could find.  I heard more people having issues with their keyboards and NWN2 on Vista.
