the original title was supposed to be maximum impact 2, so why did they change it to 2006? its kinda weird... what, then maximum impact 3 gonna be 2007?

It doesn't look like it from here, so I guess the name change was pretty stupid. I much prefer the name Maximum Impact.

MI title isn't Original If you notice, movie and the other games out there so, IMO the US version is trying to keep it as a year to year originality in which i like. JP version just gave it a sub title not a new Series but still IMO

maixmum impact is for the 3d kof.
now the main kof doesnt even use years anymore. they started using xi and so on. naming it 2006 wont make any good, since 2004 & 2005 are missing. and the 3d kof aint the sequels to the main kof. its more like a side story. so renaming it to 2006 isnt 'original'. ------------------- Visit my gallery! Its okay... its like they dumped the "Maximum impact" Stage and moved on with the series...

uh, no. its king of fighters (tekken dont have special moves DM etc:P). with a bunch of combos. a bit different from the originals.

well...kof is more on joystik motion while tekken is on tapping the buttons...

if you say it that way, then the combos in this game is more to tekken. button bashing insanity! lucky they didnt make Clark something like King. then it gonna be a real pain to pull off his throws.
