Hey everyone, welcome to the Metal Gear Character Hurt and Heal! These type of games are relatively common, so just a quick rundown of the rules:

• Each character begins with 15 points.
• To Heal a character, add 2 to their score.
• To Hurt a character, minus 4 from their score.
• +2, -4 is the only possible combination.
• You can only post once every 3 hours.
• No double posting.
• Post up the whole character list every time you post and adjust scores accurately (you might want to post in size 1 since it's a pretty long list, but I won't insist on it).
• If you eliminate a character, remove them from the list.
• Feel free to elaborate on your hurting/healing decisions, but try to keep posts on topic.
• Don't hesitate to ask questions or give suggestions, and if you think I've missed out any characters then tell me!
• Enjoy the game and have fun!

I think this should be a Best Hero and Best Villain character at the same time, since there are so many characters. We would Hurt and Heal a hero and Hurt and Heal a villain in the same post.

Um, quick question.

Wouldn't this work better if we all ONLY put something like this....

Hurt - *****
Heal - ******

Then they could be updated and factored into the score on the first post?

That way, people won't get so confused.

Like, if two or three people post at nearly the same time, all the scores could get hard to keep up with, because they're all hurting and healing at nearly the same time.

It's the way most Hurt/Heal Threads work.

I think this thread's ok as the way it is. But I think we should be allowed to vote four times (but with different characters, of course) to speed up the process. There are a lot of minor characters that need to be eliminated by negative votes first.

There are way too many characters in MGS and way too few active posters on this forum..
