I only used Chaffs in my Stealth game.
Just for Act 4 to get past the Scarabs quickly.

I tried to make that game a Stealth/No Kill play to get both, but while on the Drebin Truck, someone died.
I didn't kill 'em!
He died...

But I don't use much ammo either way.
I only bought/buy Railgun ammo, and that's just to rape anything around me.

But no Bandana...
No gangsta Snizzake for me...

Just play through it without worrying about secrets or anything first time. The fun is in playing it, then finding out the secrets after enjoying the game first time

True.
It'll take about 20+ hours your first time.
That's mostlt cutscenes.
Than on your next play through, play on easiest and try not to kill anyone, set off any alerts, and kill all BBs non-leathaly.
That's so you can get the Stealth Camo, Bandana, and Solar Gun.

16 hours was my first playthrough. Second was 6, and the only thing I did was skip the cutscenes. lol @ 10 hours of cutscenes xD

Yes. It counts as a kill. It's one of those fiddly shit scenarios Watch out for Drebin's truck too. Just CQC throw them to stun them.

Edit » I always wondered why Tyndis used the Laugh and Scream bullets and the Solar Gun so much. Just realised you can't buy tranq bullets on Boss Extreme. Oh *bleep*.

I'm pretty sure Falling frogs don't count, a guide in the walk through section said so anyway. And I didn't get any kills in Act 1 (though not sure if I actually shot any on the walls)

FoxHound is for 0 kills/alerts/continues/health/special items on Big Boss Hard. The BB Emblem is for the same achievements on The Boss Extreme, which is what I'm attempting now. Act 1 took me 45 minutes. Might be cutting it a bit fine towards the end with times like that. Gotta speed up a bit.

I'm 100% certain they do. I knocked one off a wall and it counted.

Edit » I'm being caught by a lot of PMC's who weren't there on Tyndis' speed run. Wtf is he up to?

EditEdit » Act 3... wtf? It's the easiest act in the game. Until you hit boss extreme It's so hard to get anywhere. Tranq's only knock soldiers out for about 2 minutes. You have to pull it off perfectly or you're not goin' anywhere. =( This is gonna take a while...

EditEditEdit » Wolf is awful hardhardhard. Well.. wolf isn't. It's trying to keep away from the FROGs long enough to get a good shot on her that's hard. The Tranq doesn't knock them out for NEARLY long enough. Probably long enough to get 2 shots on Wolf, if you're quick.

Edit4 » I love how I'm saying all these things are so hard, then coming back an hour later to say I've done them. My perception of hard is warped.

No you didn't.

- Confinement Facility on Act 2
- Marketplace on Act 2, right to the left of the last gheko
- Shadow Moses Helipad
- Apparently you can get some from Akiba in Avant Plaza at the start somehow too.

I think there's another location. Can't remember where though.

I'm on Act 5 now in my Boss Emblem run. 2:30 so far. Only hard parts now will be The Bow, Mantis and Ocelot. Which is everything I have left to do. The Bow I'll manage prett easily. Might get killed a few times on Mantis with no rations. Liquid might take me a few attempts too. I don't see anything stopping me dead in my tracks from here on out though.
