Nero and DMC5. |
|
Do you really think Nero is as bad as what people make out?
I dont, people seem to exagerate his personaility within the game. Its early days yet to judge a characters depth within the series and links attached to Sparda. People merely seem to toss him aside mainly because Dante wasnt taking the lead role, Dante had to step back at least once or twice. Also do you want Nero to be the main protagonist for DMC5? My answer to that is, yes i would since ive become attached to his as a character, despite predicting that Capcom wont let it happen again T_T.

I dont think Nero would be the MAIN character in DMC5, but Iam positive hes gonna come back, otherwise introducing him in the first place would have been pointless.

i like nero. He has a completely different take....more human, still with a little bit of smartass to him...which is good. He will undoubtedly play a major role going forward.

re: Nero and DMC5. |
quote Zero and XI think it's pretty likely that Nero will be the main character in DMC5. There's a cutscene in DMC4 called, "Send in the New Star" in which Dante "Saves" Nero. So I think that's a big hint of Nero being the main character in DMC5. Although I suppose if you look at it in a nother way, you could probably see how it could mean the Nero is not going to be the main character of DMC5. So it's a bit of a toss-up, I suppose. ------------------- "When All of Your Wishes Are Granted, Many of Your Dreams Will Be Destroyed".

quote Drogo BagginsWhen it said that, i think it just meant to Nero being the "New Star" of the game to save the world. As much as i would like Nero to be the new star, i just cannot see it happening, although he will be playable (hopefully). I hate Capcom sometimes.

Nero won't make it as the main character, at least in in DMC5. DMC is Dante's story, and it isnt finished yet in my eyes. The day Dante croaks Gor and Devil forbid) I'll consider Nero as the main character. I feel he'll try to be the hero in 5, but get out-shone by Dante in the end. Kind of at the end of 4 where Nero was the one who finished off the villian, ti will reverse in 5 likely.

I hate how Capcom gets you used to something. Despite Dante being the main series, he probably will resume the lead role is DMC5, but i liked the variation DMC4 had with Nero and Dante together instead of just a Dante all the way through like all the others.

Im talking about in main terms. Nero is alot more of a major character...and Lucia sucked, infact DMC2 sucked XD. Anyway, Vergil wasnt that fun to play with plus he wasnt cannon.

He wasn't as good as Dante but he was still good and I loved the way he used the gauntlets. His yamato was also badass.
And Nero is arguably the easiest character to play with in DMC. But I don't like his character and he was too annoying with his kiddie love with whats her face. >__>

If they do bring nero back in DMC5 i'd like to see some major refinements to his abilities. I mean, the DB is a great weapon, but it's not well balanced compared to Dante, or even Nero's other weapons, of course if you want to you can stinger whore your way through most of Dante's levels but usually i like to mix it up. But with Nero, more often than not I find myself just strait up bustering people to death which i dont think would be so much of an issue i Capcom fixed 2 key problems. the buster is way over powered and hands down tromps just about any other move in the game. More weapons is a must for Nero. Red Queen is a fine weapon, but the lack of variety is one of the reasons i end up just using the buster because either way killing things with nero is tedious and the buster movers are more entertaining.
