Actually Ninja Gaiden 2 is a pretty big title anticipated for the Xbox 360. Ninja Gaiden Sigma didn't help sell the ps3 because it was for the most part Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox. At the Game Stop at my mall, there is already a ton of pre-orders for Ninja Gaiden 2. If Ninja Gaiden 2 was on the ps3 instead of the 360, that would definitely be an advantage to the ps3.

Also, not to sound like a Hater but I think Metal Gear Solid 4 is the grand daddy that all ps3 owners(myself included) are waiting for.

I doubt NG would have outsold DMC4 even if it was multi-platform, and MGS4 everyone is going crazy for.

Mmm. I sort of wish I'd bought a PS3 instead now- I'm simply drooling over MGS4 and kicking myself at the same time.

DMC4 was a pretty good game. Sure there were alot of repetition and back tracking but the gameplay was epic. The story however was okay. But DMC's stories > NG's anyday.

I did not like Devil May Cry 4's Story Line at all. In fact most of the Devil May Cry Story line is pretty much like every video game story line out there concerning Good and Evil. But compared to Ninja Gaiden, I'd still go with NG than DMC 4. DMC 1 and 3...that's a different story.

And yeah, DMC 1 and 3's stories were great. Especially the first when it was released in 01. It was amazing compared to DMC 4's. I'm quite a fan of DMC 4 and while I think it was great. I have to agree there were definitely some disappointments.

Okay, lets spicen up the activities here. First gys thanks for all the info.

Now I have played and owned every DMC game. DMC is far more famous and with larger fan base series than NG. I just started to look up NG today after reading all the posts. Looks like a great game with more technical gameplay than DMC slash-slash-jump-shoot. But DMC looks so much better and flashier. Presentation is far greater. If I put NG and DMC running simultaniously, all eyes will be on DMC. Sure as hell. In the other hand NG seems more in depth game.

Maybe I don't know about the game because it is X-Box game and I do not follow X-Box at all. Now it turns out PS3 has its NG Sigma which you all badmouth. It seems bit like DMC4 which didn't live up to its predecessors.

I missed out God of War on PS2 and i regret it so I hope 3rd on PS3 will be just as good. So guys, should I try out PS3 NG (I don't wannna miss out another cool game) or is it a spin off which I shouldn't bother with and NG is only worth getting into if you have X-Box (I will not buy X-B!).

On the subject of disputes here, it seems that DMC is bit superior overall with smoother gameplay and much more memorable characters and original ideas and weapons. NG seems just....a well done ninja game, where you play as ninja called ninja and do ninja stuff. But do not take my comments seriously, I have never played NG. Can someone also compare NG to Onimusha (I have played Oni).
