As everyone can see, judging by those screenshots of the grotesque version of Dante, he is using his infamous Rebellion sword--something that appeared in DMC2 and strangely enough, carried over to DMC3. Also, we can see him using his trademark guns Ebony & Ivory in another shot.
DMC3 set a new record for the amount of Devil Arms Dante could carry, use, and perform sick combos with. And no doubt, with the capabilities of the PS3, we can expect double what was given in DMC3 when it comes to weapons. So what kind of Devil Arms should Dante have at his disposal in this game? Gauntlets are a must since they are fun to use. Perhaps duel swords like Agni & Rudra were, and maybe a spear type weapon. But I would really like to see the return of the Sparda. Ž · That's what everyone's asking, the return of Sparda. That would be an uber rise up to the series! Imagine it, a legend 2 millenia ago that will return to the present. Sweet.

Well, the return of Sparda would be great, but I was refering to the sword. Though you could only use the DT once, it is still the most kick ass weapon of the series.

Yeah,the return of the Sparda would be awesome,though Trish got it in DMC1.I would like to see something like Agni&Rudra and the Gauntlet.But,maybe they should leave out weapons like Nevan.It was funny and everything,but I didn't like it too much.

I would much prefer a gauntlet with Nelo Angelos power fused into it so I could blast away and just be cool. I'm not too keen on his sword since Dante would possible need to grow another foot to uses it
A blade with a serrated edge would be cool and welcomed too. -------------------

I wonder if any weapons will return. Maybe include them as secret weapons that you can earn by completing Special Missions or something. But somehow they must, just as a fan service.

I'd like to see Dante with a giant hammer, or axe, or mace.
And with that, I don't mean a 'goedendag' spikes on a small round thingy mace, but a 'morgenster' mace. Gracefull, wicked blades, placed on a stick in the shape of a lethal flower. And with axe, I don't mean the sort of thing you cut wood with. I mean an AXE, like wing-shaped blades on a man-high spear, preferably with some celtic decoration. That's getting a bit close to helberd, right? But helberds have no decoration. And with an axe, you can let in some ancient egyptian influence. The axe was the weapen of the egiptian elite. I'd like to see Ifrit back. ------------------- Lack of knowledge on subjects has never slowed me much in getting an opinion about them  .Luckily, I am a fairly nice person and have knowledge of many things. And possibly I'll be working my way around the whole pride/stubborn thing. Someday. | |

In DMC1 Dante has the Force-Edge,witch he got in DMC3(prequel),later in the game it transforms to the Sparda,witch is its true form.Its,it has no DT but its still wicked awesome.
