Considering DMC4 has the most story/guns/cutscenes etc. Trish will at least be mentioned along with Lady imo but this is just speculation.
and Vergil's corruption story will probably be told in flashbacks. Retrospect coolness  ------------------- | |

I don't know if Trish will ever be back, that is if there going to connect the Novels to the game which they might.
Sadly Dante kills Trish in DMC2 the navel because Mundus returned and regain control of Trish Dante had no choice. (If you want to know more about this subject go buy the book.) | |

The novels have so little relevance to the games I doubt they'll ever make the effort to connect them.
